Normally, MSOL sponsors regular get togethers for staff, faculty, students and alums to discuss articles that focus on relevant leadership topics. Today, Dr. Jim Dittmar convenes a panel of distinguished alumni to discuss an article from the MITSLoan Management Review entitied, "The Question Every Project Team Should Answer." The subheading of the article's title states: "Many projects fail because they are launched without a clearly articulated reason why they're being pursued. Exploring the four dimensions of compelling 'why statement' can improve a project's chances of success. Stephanie is a Financial Services Speaker & Trainer with an expertise in Cash Flow Management. She has been in the Industry since 2001. During that time she found that there was a gaping hole in the financial plan where cash flow advice belonged. Since early in my career she's worked hard to fill that gap. In 2011 she sold her investment and insurance practice to focus her efforts on: "Being the change, we need in the Financial Services Industry" she would like to see Cash Flow Planning be a normal & standardized part of the financial planning process.

Prior to starting his own business in 1983, he spent 14 years with Dun and Bradstreet Canada, Ltd. He held a series of increasingly senior management positions in Toronto, Ottawa, St. John’s and Vancouver; latterly as a National Division Manager overseeing offices from Halifax to Vancouver. Accomplishments include a fivefold increase in profits in two years and the four best years of profit in the division’s history. His obsession with operational efficiency led him to start his own business as an independent associate of Priority Management, a global Canadian company with 80 offices worldwide. Awards include Top Global Revenues, Top Canadian Revenues, Top Market Penetration, Top Regional Developer, Corporate Citizen of the Year and membership on the Presidents Leadership Team for Excellence.
Andy obtained a B.Sc in Math and Psychology from The University of King’s College in Halifax in 1969. He has earned a certificate in Instructional Facilitation and attended numerous development programs over his career.
