Pitchers and Catchers is finally here! In what was easily the shortest offseason we can remember, the Mets, playing baseball on November 1, did not make us wait as long this time around, and it's time to bask in all the images bouncing back from Port St. Lucie...
Mike Lecolant, Rich Sparago, J.T. Teran, Danny Abriano and possibly others, gather to talk what's on our minds as the Mets players start to convene...What's with all the depth around here?! Where on the diamond will Kevin Plawecki and/or Travis d'Arnaud get reps? Do we even need to get another outside bullpen arm or are we good going in house? So many questions to discuss....and it's all because Mets baseball is segueing back!
So, join us at 9pm ET for the Rising Apple Report!

The Rising Apple Report returns for the 124th episode at 9pmET! Sam Maxwell hosts, with staff writers Rich Sparago and Mike Lecolant, as well as Faith and Fear in Flushing's Greg Prince as we continue to countdown to Pitchers and Catchers! (We're at 15 days away...)
It feels strange, it feels like a new sensation, but the anxiety level for this New York Mets team must be at its lowest point in years, if not the lowest point ever...The fans, the players, the coaches, the front office and ownership all seem to be on the same page...and that is ultimately a World Series victory. Even outside of the main goal generally for every team going into a baseball season, the Metsian conversation is strictly baseball related, and it is utterly fantastic. We will explore the dicotomy of all of that, and talk the roster as we head into Spring Training.
And as always, we'll discuss the players who have worn number 24 in the history of the New York Mets, as well as a bit of New York National League History from 1924.
So, join us at 9pmET for the latest edition of the Rising Apple Report!

The 2016 NFL draft is in the books. From the Los Angeles Rams and Jared Goff at No. 1 to the Tennessee Titans and Kalan Reed at No. 253, over 250 young men now know where their NFL careers will begin. Hundreds more have signed with teams in the days since as undrafted free agents.
And now that we know where top rookies like quarterback Carson Wentz (Philadelphia Eagles, No. 2), running back Ezekiel Elliott (Dallas Cowboys, No. 4) and wide receiver Corey Coleman (Cleveland Browns, No. 15) landed, it's time to start talking in detail about how this year's class affects the fantasy football landscape.
Will any of the first-year quarterbacks make a fantasy dent in 2016?
Besides Elliott, which tailbacks could be set for an immediate impact? And just how big a splash will "Zeke" make in Big D?
In a crowded wide receiver class with no clear-cut No. 1 prospect, which young pass-catchers should fantasy owners target?
Of course, the draft impacts much more than just the incoming players, as these rookies will also impact any number of veterans across the National Football League. Which players saw their fantasy fortunes improve, and who was left out in the cold?
To answer those questions and many more, Fantasy Sharks Senior Staff Writer Gary Davenport welcomes a pair of special guests in this week. Fantasy Sharks staff writers Trey Daubert and MJ Brown (host of the Daily Bite here on Fantasy Sharks Radio) will join the Fantasy Football Feeding Frenzy on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 7-8 PM for an NFL Draft Breakdown Cinco de Mayo style.
For a fiesta of fantasy football forecasting, be sure to tune in!

In conjunction with 2016 being the 25th Anniversary of the Atlanta Braves' 1991 worst-to-first finish (the first ever in NL history), as well as the launch of the team's unprecedented 14-straight-year title streak, noted baseball writer, author and long-time Braves fan Dan Schlossberg has written the definitive book on this incredible achievement, When the Braves Ruled the Diamond: Fourteen Flags Over Atlanta. In fact, it is the only book on this subject that will be available to fans this year.
The 292-page hardcover, featuring a foreword by Hall of Fame manager Bobby Cox, is the only book to chronicle all the details of the streak, a pro sports record. As you probably know, three other members of those great Braves teams - - pitchers Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine and John Smoltz - - also have been inducted into the Hall of Fame, and third baseman Chipper Jones should be joining them shortly.
?All four Hall of Famers, plus Chipper and Andruw Jones, GM John Schuerholz, pitching coach Leo Mazzone, slugger Andres Galarraga, catcher Javy Lopez and dozens of other members of the Braves "family" revealed behind the scenes memories of those Fourteen Flags to Schlossberg - - and now the author is ready to share their private stories with you.

Disability can be tough but so what! I want to see us the survivors of disabilities living the Bold new life in spite of having a disability or not! Wouldn’t it be cool if we could lay our title down at the door and just be cool no matter how badly disability has affected us?
Well I will say a bit of kindness and a whole lot of care about what we can do to help others and ourselves along the way can be a big part of the cure to that!
In my own opinion I have discovered through peer support and advocacy and love for people going through hard times I have grown into a better more understanding person who is in search each for much of the same things everybody else wants such as; a happy life, a good relationship, with Friends, Family, a great job or carrier, and to live the American Dream to name just a few!
Can I say seeming many people with disabilities? Well yes like grabbing a Bull by the horns and saying no more fear I am who I am and I am happy to be me!!! Tats what I mean.
1. Just getting by or ready to Fly

5. it’s all about finding and realizing their dreams catching them
6. Open Mic, open chat room, and cool comment from survivors and caregivers
Come check us out as we are back and playing the late slate tonight. Interesting slate on Draftkings. What contest will we play? What players will we like? And where will the common ground be? Will also be discussing trash talking on Twitter by the Mauler and other escapades as he continues his reign of terror on the DFS community. Hey he is called the Mauler for a reason.
Who are the best pitchers for tonight? And what are the key pitchers to target
