Baltimore Ravens Pregame Show Presented by Fanspeak.com

    in Football

Join Alan Zlotorzynski & Tavares Gooden this morning at 11:00 a.m. for the Baltimore Ravens Pregame Show, presented by the Fanspeak Radio Network, Fanspeak.com & Fanduel.com.

The Baltimore Ravens return home to host the San Diego Chargers in a battle between 7-4 teams today. Baltimore, currently riding a two-game winning streak, is 4-1 at M&T Bank Stadium this season, emerging victorious in its last four games held in Charm City. The Chargers, who have also won two-straight games, are coming off a tight 27-24 win over St. Louis last Sunday. San Diego has not played in Baltimore since 2006, when the Ravens won 16-13.

Baltimore is in a tight race in the ultra-competitive AFC North, which is the only division in NFL history to boast all four teams at three games above .500 at any point in a season. The Ravens, who have already played five of their six division games this year (a Week 17 home battle with the Browns remains), are a half game behind leader Cincinnati (7-3-1). Pittsburgh and Cleveland are also 7-4, but Baltimore holds tie-breakers over each team

Alan & Tavares will breakdown the keys to a Ravens win and you will hear from the coaches and players that will participate in today’s critical AFC matchup.

    in Religion

Genesis 32:1 And Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him.

2 And when Jacob saw them, he said, This is God's host: and he called the name of that place Mahanaim.

3 And Jacob sent messengers before him to Esau his brother unto the land of Seir, the country of Edom.

4 And he commanded them, saying, Thus shall ye speak unto my lord Esau; Thy servant Jacob saith thus, I have sojourned with Laban, and stayed there until now:

5 And I have oxen, and asses, flocks, and menservants, and womenservants: and I have sent to tell my lord, that I may find grace in thy sight.

6 And the messengers returned to Jacob, saying, We came to thy brother Esau, and also he cometh to meet thee, and four hundred men with him.

    7 Then Jacob was greatly afraid and distressed: and he divided the people that was with him, and the flocks, and herds, and the camels, into two bands;

8 And said, If Esau come to the one company, and smite it, then the other company which is left shall escape.

9 And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, theLord which saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee:

10 I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands.

Baltimore Ravens Pregame Show Presented by Fanspeak.com

    in Football

Join Alan Zlotorzynski & Tavares Gooden, today at 11:00 a.m. for the BALTIMORE RAVENS PREGAME SHOW, presented by Fanspeak.com, The Fanspeak Radio Network, The Birds of Baltimore.com and EarnestByner21.com.

The Baltimore Ravens (7-5), winners in two of their past three games, travel to play at the Miami Dolphins (7-5), who own a 3-2 mark at Sun Life Stadium this season. Today’s matchup is critical in the AFC playoff race with the winner taking a major step forward in possibly securing one of the remaining spots. The loser will face a steep uphill climb to make the playoffs.

Baltimore is also in a tight race in the ultra-competitive AFC North, which is the only division in the NFL where all four teams are at least two games above .500. The Ravens, who have already played five of their six division games (a Week 17 home battle with the Browns remains), are 1.5 games behind leader Cincinnati (8-3-1). Pittsburgh and Cleveland are also 7-5, but Baltimore holds tie-breakers over each team.

Despite taking a 10-point, fourth-quarter lead (30-20), the Ravens lost last Sunday to the visiting Chargers, 34-33. Behind QB Philip Rivers, San Diego scored three final-period touchdowns to secure the hard-fought victory. The Chargers converted 9 of 11 third downs (81.8%) – the best percentage ever against the Ravens – going 7-for-7 in the first half.

Alan & Tavares will break down what the Ravens must do to win today. The guys will provide you with all of the stats that matter as well as the player interviews from both teams throughout the course of the week.

Showtime is 11:00 a.m. and you can follow Alan and Tavares on Twitter @zlotsports and @TGood52.

Deepertruth: My Experience At Medjugorie (800 P.M. Central Live)

    in Religion

I had my M-5 video Camera taking pictures along the way. The mountains and the rivers were very colorful.

Sometimes the roads were so narrow that you could almost look straight down from the bus window deep into the gorge.

That was a bit scary. Finally, we made it to our destination. Getting off the bus was great as we looked around the area.

Medjugorie is a small village located up in the mountains about 40 miles past Mostar.

From afar, you could see “Cross Mountain” where the people of the village erected a large cross in 1933 to commemorate the Passion of the Lord.

You can see this far off as you drive towards Medjugorie.

The Church of St. James stood very prominent.

The place was alive with small children playing with old soccer balls, there were local farmers with goats that seemed everywhere.

We were quickly assigned with local families to stay during this pilgrimage. It seemed that the whole region was totally converted.
