The State of The Philadelphia Eagles

    in Sports

    We're bacckk....

After a nearly five-month hiatus, Broad Street Breakdown has made its' transition to The Broad Street Asylum. Enter the Asylum, as host Ryan Waterman will be joined by a pair of guests to discuss the current state of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Following a horrendous season, the Birds (finally..) wiped the slate clean, moving on from Chip Kelly. Upon the start of the offseason, the entire regime changed. Chip Kelly's staff was gone, and his players were not too far behind. Howie Roseman was back at the head of the ship, and Doug Pederson was brought in to lead the team in the right direction. How has their strategy paid off in Free Agency? Who will the Eagles select in April's NFL Draft? Has their draft mindset changed at all?

Tune into this inagural broadcast, to hear what Ryan and his guests have to say. Call-ins are also strongly encouraged. You can voice your opinon, by calling 516-531-9317.

The Broad Street Asylum goes live on Friday, April 8th at 11 PM Eastern/8 PM Pacfic, you'd be crazy not to be there!

PawedCast Episode 34: New York City FC Review, NWSL & Philadelphia Union Preview

    in Soccer

The regular season home finale has come and gone and Orlando City extended its winning streak to five games, sending the huge Citrus Bowl crowd of 40,000+ home with a 2-1 win over New York City FC. The Lions still have the tiniest of chances to sneak into the MLS playoffs as an expansion team, but honestly, finishing ahead of NYCFC feels just as good.

We're here to break down that win over our fellow 2015 expansion team and we'll talk about our key performances and our selections for Man of the Match. We also discuss the newly announced NWSL team, Orlando Pride, which the club announced on Tuesday, as well as the latest rumors swirling around about a potential trade that will bring Alex Morgan to the City Beautiful. We like the idea.

TML's own Jeff Milby stops by to give us his postmortem on Louisville City FC's season, and how the affiliation worked (or didn't) for both clubs. And we talk to Eugene Rupinski of The Brotherly Game about this weekend's upcoming regular season finale at Philadelphia Union. It's a jam-packed show!

Oh, and we give our key match-ups and final score predictions. Here's the rundown:

0:26- Our thoughts on an exciting 2-1 win over NYCFC and whether two key balls crossed the goal line.

27:23- Jeff Milby gives us the LCFC season overview from Louisville.

40:16- Eugene hops on and talks a little Philadelphia Union with us.

53:18- Key match-ups and score predictions for the game in Philadelphia.
