Yes, folks we're almost at the 30 day mark before the premiere of Avengers 2: Age of Ultron and expectations and nerdgasms continue to mount! In the interim, check out the latest episode of Afronerd Radio's Grindhouse airing this Saturday at 6pm. For the first "Comic Shoppe" segment, join Dburt, Capt. Kirk and the "Uncanny" Daryll B. as they solve the latest pop/pulp conundrums this week: chatter about the Transformers franchise channeling the Marvel way of doing business; Fox intends to reboot The X-Files with the original actors; Star Trek may return to TV (on CBS) after a ten year hiatus; trailers from the "Governator" and James Bond (Maggie and Spectre films, respectively) hit the net; Jesse Eiseberg shows his Luthor mug. And finally, our thoughts on the post Secret Wars "All-New, All-Different Avengers" comic that appears to feature Miles Morales as a main character.
And now for the fourth quarter, join us for Afronerd Radio with your hosts Dburt and Capt. Kirk starting at 7pm. Topics to be analyzed are: actress, Taraji P. Henson apologizes for her son's exaggerated account of racial profiling; more on the Swiss Alps plane crash and how its appears to have been intentional; what's up with Oprah? The "man" (or is that just male) with 34 children by 17 women and Evelyn Lozado are getting OWN TV shows (huh); how did 60 Minutes cover Africa by only interviewing Whites? And if time permits, we will try to touch on subjects from the last show that we were unable to address. Call the hosts live at 646-915-9620.
Take some time this week to remember your original happy hour: Saturday mornings as a kid, waking up at dawn, jumping on the couch with a bowl of chocolate cereal, turning on the ‘toons, tuning out the outside world, and working your way into a sugar hangover before noon. Join us for our Very Special After School Episode where we talk about, well, Very Special After School Episodes. As an example of how important material should be done we present the new film Grace., starring Annika Marks, Sharon Lawrence, and Cindy Joy Goggins (we even sit down with all three women for a long chat about the movie and everything it means!), and as an example of how it shouldn't be done, we present every 80's Very Special sitcom episode made. Also, we're proud to introduce our new host Johnny Heck this week and you'll get your chance to win a copy of Grace. on DVD by emailing us at Saturdaymorningcereal@yahoo.com (details at the end of the show).

While not everyone has had the joy that is shaking hands with Tommy Wiseau moments after he (literally) walks into a door -- though Movie Mistress Jade has, and loved every minute of it -- most have at least heard of the delightful disaster The Room. The movie, however, is much more well-known than the game (and definitely better known than the fact Wiseau has explored video games on the Tommy Wi-Show). Jade and her guest-host will go down the rabbit hole of ridiculous films and their related games during this episode of Final Friday Films.
