    ARE YOU A PHARISEE?

    in Religion

We like to identify ourselves with people from the pages of scripture. No one wants to be connected to Pharaoh or Nebuchadnezzar or Jezebel. No one want to be compared to the Pharisees. Examine yourselves; are YOU a Pharisee? Let's see.

Hater? Pharisee? Or Holiness with The Berean Brothers

    in Religion

A few terms that's been circulating among Christians in the body of Christ, anytime someone addresses an issue regarding how we are to live before a watching world, that's sure to get emotions stirred or conflict & controversy started; depending who's at the end of the rebuke. The terms are "Hater" and "Pharisee".

But are such labels warranted against brothers/sisters in Christ who genuinely are concerned about how we as Christians are to live? What does it REALLY mean to be labeled a "Hater"? And what does it REALLY mean when someone labels you a "Pharisee"? Such terminology carries more weight and the implications are far greater than those who choose to verbally expess them may understand or realize.

Are we as Christians, commanded to hold each other accountable to holiness when sin or error are unmistakably clear? Or is our only option, when we see the Lord's name dishonored & blasphemed, to pray?

The Berean Brothers (Rico Gibson, Douglas Rogers aka "Read B Verses", and Tony Spain) and I will address this and other topics tonight.

    How Jesus became Christian

    in Christianity

For many years after the death of Jesus of Nazareth his apostles and followers held fast to his teachings and taught others to do the same. His powerful, life-giving, transformative teachings were transmitted by word of mouth in what is known today as oral tradition.  Before the gospels that now comprise part of the New Testament were written a Pharisee named Saul (who later changed his name to PauL) claimed to have had a revelation directly from Jesus that was so utterly different as to be diametrically opposed to the teachings of Jesus. Paul created a set of teachings that were completely rejected by the followers of Jesus who comprised the Jerusalem Assembly. But it was the teachings of Paul known as the Gospel of Christ that won the day. The teachings of Jesus were replaced. Can you say deception?

Detroit Healing Festival 2016 - Dr. David Nichols - Bringing Heaven To Earth

    in Christianity

    Dr. Nichols states

I  have Lofty sounding stuff like Ph.D., Bible College Professor, Sr. Pastor, Academic Dean, was a presbyter in the Assemblies of God organization,  missionary evangelist, ordained by the Assemblies of God (Sherry's ordained too by Five-Fold Int'l.) sent by God to Africa, India, and the USA.

But let me say this; there is nothing that I hold more dear in my past than repenting of being a Pharisee on that remote lonely ND road the day that the Spirit of the Living God saw fit to tap my shoulder, convict me, and deliver me into new radical love for His children. That's the crux of who I am. It's what I eat, sleep and breath. It was a new revelation of God's love for His children that demanded true repentance, new humility, and a very different direction for David and Sherry Nichols! We found our new identity in Jesus and in Father's love, rather than in our busy activity.

So then, after being lit on fire by the revival in Pensacola, FL in 1997, Sherry and I founded Heart of the Father Ministries in the year 2000.  Since then we have focused on activating the local Saints via Apostolic ministry, conducted over 60 healing festivals plus invited Church ministry in towns, villages and cities of Africa, India and in 16 states the USA.  We have ministered to over one million people face-to-face, seeing 350,000 of them repent at the altar.  Twice we have ministered to crowds of over 100,000 people in India! Wow, God is so good.

Sherry is my wife of 41 years. She is Co-founder of Heart of the Father ministries. She is also Office Manager of the ministry. The passions of the Father's heart run through her as she ministers to people who need His love.

We have four married sons, 11 grandchildren...http://www.heartofthefather.net/

    Rapture Centric At Night

    in Spirituality

Acts 23:4    4 Those who were standing near Paul said, “How dare you insult God’s high priest!”

23 Paul looked straight at the Sanhedrin and said, “My brothers, I have fulfilled my duty to God in all good conscience to this day.” 2 At this the high priest Ananias ordered those standing near Paul to strike him on the mouth. 3 Then Paul said to him, “God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! You sit there to judge me according to the law, yet you yourself violate the law by commanding that I be struck!”

4 Those who were standing near Paul said, “How dare you insult God’s high priest!”

5 Paul replied, “Brothers, I did not realize that he was the high priest; for it is written: ‘Do not speak evil about the ruler of your people.’[a]”

6 Then Paul, knowing that some of them were Sadducees and the others Pharisees, called out in the Sanhedrin, “My brothers, I am a Pharisee, descended from Pharisees. I stand on trial because of the hope of the resurrection of the dead.” 7 When he said this, a dispute broke out between the Pharisees and the Sadducees, and the assembly was divided. 8 (The Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, and that there are neither angels nor spirits, but the Pharisees believe all these things.)
