After the tragic murder and carjacking of Dustin Friedman right before Christmas at the Short Hills Mall in NJ, many are starting to question NJ laws gun controls, which are some of the strictest in the country and questioning whether these strict gun control laws may actually be putting more citizens at risk, while having little affect on crime.
While NJ residents can apply for Permit to Carry Handgun, the large majority is denied because they cannot prove justifiable need. The ability to carry a handgun for self-defense is extremely important, but no less important than the right to possess your legally owned handguns while traveling.
Frank Fiamingo, President of NJ Second Amendment Society (NJ2AS) joins us to discuss the issue of conceal carry in NJ and the "friend of the Court" brief filed by the NJ2AS filed on October 1, 2013 challenging New Jersey's "justifiable need" requirement to obtain a Permit to Carry a Handgun. The Plaintiff, Richard Pantano, is being represented by Evan Nappen, noted civil rights attorney and close friend and supporter of NJ2AS.
Will Permit to Carry be a reality in NJ, and will law abiding citizens be able to exercise their right to not only defend themselves outside the home but to lawfully carry their handgun outside their home?
Join Nicky Dare, host of "NUG" Talk, discussion of anything and everything about guns.

Thorughout my life I have heard and read all sorts of things from letters, to books, to Facebook blurps about God and Christians. I have often wondered, what are these people talking about? Have they actually met Christians like that? And what of these warped ideas about God and what he expects of us? Almost everyone has an answer for that and almost everyone's answer ignores what the Bible actually says. As Jesus said of the Pharisees people are trying to tie up a whole bunch of rules of "how TRUE Christians" are supposed to act and put them into bundles of burdens that are too great for anyone to carry. So people "pretend" to be good, or they act "churchy" on Sundays but are then jerks the other six days of the week. So what does really want. Lets forget all of the noise and vacuous opinions that everyone seems to have and dive right into the heart of the matter. I think you may be pleasantly surprised...
HEBREWS 6: 1- 20
[ Eightfold Command for Christians not to apostatize ]
vs1. therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
vs. 2 Of the doctrine of the baprisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgement.
vs. 3. and this we will do if god permit.
[ Former blessings Of the apostates ] vs. 4. for it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy ghost,
vs. 5. And have tasted the good word of God, and powers of the world to come.
[ reasons why christians should not apostatize: how to become an apostate I timothy 4:1 - 5; 2 Timothy 3: 1-9; 4: 1 - 4; 2 Thess. 2: 8 - 12; Heb. 10: 26 - 29; 2 Peter 2: 1-22; Jude 4 - 10; Rom. 1: 18 - 32; Phil. 3: 18
vs. 6. If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing the crucify to themselves the Son of god afresh, and put him to an open shame
vs. 7. For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessings from God:
vs. 8. But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing: whose end is to be burned.
vs, 9. But beloved we are pursuaded better things of you,
A lot of damages has been done on our cultural heritage, our way of life have deeply been altered, our languages are at the verge of total extinction and the wall of false identity hanged upon us to carry as defeated people, colonized people and enslaved people. Biafra ethnic Nationality has been given different names to cause a huge of identity and interactive demarcation have separated Biafra people from their kinsmen calling some South-East and some South-South while some are in North central.
Ibos (Igbo speaking Biafrans), Ijaws (speaking Kalabari, Edoid, Izon language etc) others includes: Ibibio-Efiks and Ogojas, and this Great Nation has been coexisting thousands of years ago as Biafra people many centuries before losing her sovereignty to colonial powers before being balkanized into various countries like Guanine Bissau, Kamerun, etc, the Archaeological evidence and African Ancient map stands as a proof that Biafra people are a nation and are Indigenous people.

Unacceptable Levels examines the results of the chemical revolution of the 1940s through the eyes of affable filmmaker Ed Brown, a father seeking to understand the world in which he and his wife are raising their children. To create this debut documentary, one man and his camera traveled extensively to find and interview top minds in the fields of science, advocacy, and law. Weaving their testimonies into a compelling narrative, Brown presents us with the story of how the chemical revolution brought us to where we are, and of where, if we’re not vigilant, it may take us.
Over 80,000 chemicals flow through our system of commerce, and many are going straight into our bodies. Even our unborn children are affected. Due to this constant exposure, we have approximately 200 synthetic industrial chemicals interacting with our cells every single day. Until recently, modern science really didn’t understand what that could mean for all of us in the long run, but that is changing.
Globally, disease rates are on the rise. Theories about the causes abound, yet the issues are complex and often muddied by the maneuvering of political and corporate interests. To explore different facets of common chemical exposure, Unacceptable Levels, was made in consultation with experts in multiple fields and is guided by a father on a personal journey as he attempts to bring these issues to light for everyone. Its primary goal? To determine whether we can prevent disease before it strikes us.
Unacceptable Levels opens the door to conversations about the chemical burden our bodies carry so that we can make informed decisions now and in the future. The film poses challenges to our companies, our government, and our society to do something about a nearly-unseen threat with the inspired knowledge that small changes can generate a massive impact.

He was a dual threat running back who had great vision, speed and was a threat to take it the distance every time he touched the football. Kirby had great hands and was a threat for the Cavaliers and quarterback Shawn Moore.
Kirby became a 3rd round draft pick by the Miami Dolphins in the 1993 NFL Draft and burst onto the scene in South Florida with an impressive rookie season. Ms. Verna V. Nickelberry, mother of two sons and the grandmother of two little boys, Zion Truth Oliver and Israel Jadon Oliver, is a graduate of Northside High School and LeMoyne-Owen College located in Memphis, TN. Ms Nickelberry has completed classes toward a master degree in Theologies at Jacksonville Theological Seminary.
Ms. Nickelberry is the founder and editorial director of ORDINARY PEOPLE MAGAZINE (OPM).
ORDINARY PEOPLE magazine is the result of a God given assignment which Ms Nickelberry received in the 2005 but wasn’t birth until March of 2008.
“When God gave me the assignment I was excited and reluctant to take on such a huge task. I had no experience in this type of work. I didn’t know where to start, nor did I have the funds. So, I put it off for about two months, this only made the voice of God louder in my ear. I started in the fall of 2005, but was met with some obstacles and once again I stopped. On October 18, 2007, the voice of God spoke, “saying it was time to start on the magazine again.” And once again I had do idea as to where to start and no funds. I began to research the start up cost of producing a magazine. After weeks of spending nights on the internet, praying, and having conversations with God, things began to fall into place. It was then that I realized that this was not my idea, but God’s idea. Ordinary People magazine is not my magazine but God’s magazine, I am but the vessel used to carry out the mission that He has given me charge of.” ---Verna V Nickelberry
