Dolph Lundgren's motion picture debut came in the 1985 James Bond feature A VIEW TO A KILL. ‘I’m on screen for no more than ten seconds, if you blink you miss me...’. But, it was Dolph’s performance in ROCKY IV later that year that got him noticed worldwide. After a 9 month audition process among 5,000 hopefuls, Dolph was chosen by Sylvester Stallone to be his fearsome Soviet opponent in the ring, Captain Ivan Drago. From here Dolph build a solid career as an international action-hero & has since starred in more than thirty-five feature films. In the eighties & nineties, Lundgren played the classic action lead in such films as MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, SHOWDOWN IN LITTLE TOKYO co-starring the late Brandon Lee & BLACKJACK by Hong-Kong action legend John Woo. In the 90’s Lundgren also turned in some memorable performances as the main villain to other action stars, most notably in UNIVERSAL SOLDIER opposite Jean Claude Van Damme, directed by Roland Emmerich & “JOHNNY MNEMONIC opposite Keanu Reeves. Dolph made the move behind the camera to become a director six years ago. Since then, Dolph has directed five feature films. His production company Thor Pictures is currently developing several projects, which he will produce, star & direct. His two latest projects are a feature he co-wrote & directed, COMMAND PERFORMANCE produced by Avi Lerner & Nu Image Films – & ICARUS, a neo-noir thriller, shot in Vancouver, BC. In 2009 Dolph co-starred with fellow action star Jean-Claude Van Damme in UNIVERSAL SOLDIER REGENERATION, a sequel to the film that paired the two European actors back in the 90’s. This month's guest, Marnie Green, is Principal Consultant at Management Education Group and author of both Painless Performance Evaluations and Painless Performance Conversations. Listen in as she shares examples of organizations who have seen shifts in culture as a result of a new performance management process and supporting technology.
In the past year nearly 50 percent of companies have considered eliminating performance evaluations and 85 percent of them, say HR professionals, are seeking to simplify the performance management process. This shift has a significant impact on how compensation and benefits managers determine employee incentives.
Consequently those that run compensation and benefits functions, or "total rewards" as it's often known, should focus on three priorities in particular this year.
1 Pay-for performance initiatives and how total rewards leaders reward employees when performance management ratings are being eliminated.
2 Return on investment in the total rewards function, and ensuring that HR teams working on the projects that will have the greatest impact on employee retention and engagement.
3 Setting forward-looking quarterly goals that focus on skill development, and aligning rewards with that development, instead of looking back and rewarding past performance; something that typically occurs with an annual review.
Monique McCloud-Manley, practice leader of the CEB Total Rewards Leadership Council, discusses these trends and how total rewards professionals should respond.

How did you feel, what did you think when you read the title of tonight's show? Soon Bards Logic will launch a petition to Donald Trump and Ben Carson who is heading the vetting of possible Vice Presidential picks. The petition will state many of the reasons why Donald Trump should choose Newt Gingrich.
Here is the short version of the Petition.
Dear Candidate Trump,
We congratulate you on your victory for the Republican nomination. Now it is time to move forward to choose a running mate that Conservatives will support and who knows Congress. That person is Newt Gingrich. He took the Republican Party to a 54 seat gain to win the House of Representatives in 1994 which had been held by the Republicans for only two out of the previous 62 years. This fact will alleviate those with fears of down ballot loses. Gingrich also has experience balancing budgets as he did in 1995. He got passed the Balanced Budget Act of 1997. Gingrich supports the Six Sigma business management model for the United States government. During his 2012 campaign, Gingrich proposed a balanced Budget Amendment, building a fence on the US-Mexican border, and promoted a reduction of the federal government's influence adhering to the 10th Amendment on States' Rights. Gingrich promotes increasing America's investment into the future in the areas of science and technology. For these reasons and more Mr. Trump we urge you to choose Newt Gingrich as your running mate for Vice President of the United States. Signed_____________
Look for the extended petition and the link to where YOU can sign to tell Trump to pick Newt Gingrich as his Vice President Running Mate.

The Liberal government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Minister of Democratic Reform Maryam Monsef have pledged that Election 42 will be the last using the "First Past The Post" system. What their plan is has yet to be revealed to the Canadian public. But the discussion is very lively about what a new electoral system should look like for Canada outside the House.
Over 90 countries, including 85% of OECD members, use some form of Proportional Representation. The old rhetoric of "every vote counts" is simply not true in a FPTP electoral system. Since World War I, Canada has had 17 "majority governments" based on seat count. Only four of those had an actual majority of the popular vote. Canadians have in reality been electing minority governments most of the time, based on vote totals. The Liberal government has publicly decried "We will make every vote count". Do Canadians really think their votes translated into an accurate seat count? On October 19, it took 37,728 votes to elect one Liberal MP. It took 602,755 votes to elect one Green MP. Nearly 17.6 million votes were cast, yet the overwhelming Liberal majority was delivered with just 4.6 million of them.
Kelly Carmichael, Executive Director of Fair Vote Canada, joins us to examine what is and what needs to be for Election 43. Proportional Representation delivers equal and effective votes, better environmental performance, better gender equality and better policy development and implementation, based on historical data.
