ISIS OR ISAL WHO KNOWS OPEN CALLS
O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
Ask God to help you choose to be kind, especially when you don't feel like it.
Man doesn't get it. By nature, man tends to think that God is harsh and unkind. Nothing could be further from the truth.??
God is extremely kind, and incredibly loving. Many people simply don't "realize that God's kindness leads you toward repentance."
The more we know God's goodness, the more we trust Him. The more we trust Him, the easier it is for us to put our lives into His hands. Only by placing our lives in His hands can we open the way for Him to save us, bless us and work through us, so that His wonderful will can be done on earth as it is done in heaven.
Being kind is a choice. You make choices every day — some big and some small. Think about all the choices you've made in the last 30 minutes. Which food to eat first at dinner, whether to sit on the floor or stay in your chair for this devotion, and who to share compliments about — those were all choices. God wants you to choose to be kind. The Bible tells about a kind man named Boaz who shared his harvest by letting a poor woman named Ruth gather from his fields (Ruth 2:8). Sometimes kindness is a choice to share what you have with someone in need. Other times, it's a decision to encourage someone with a sincere compliment.
TALKING TO EACH OTHER
- Does God care about whether we are kind to others? How do you know? (Matthew 25:31-40)
- What are some ways you can show kindness to those around you every day?
Ephesians 4:32:Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
I urge you to find ways to recognize and remember God’s kindness. It will build our testimonies

Tonight on Deepertruth, Cynthia Morales, will give her conversion back to the Catholic Faith. Currently, Cynthia works at Prolife Champions which is a non-profit media production company. They recently produced the documentary “The 40 Film”. Dr. Day Gardner of this movie states, “The 40 Film is a provocative game changer in support of life.” This works was not always what Cynthia Morales believed. Tonight, Cynthia will give her story of conversion leading her back to the Catholic Faith.
“Repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be wiped away, and that the Lord may grant you times of refreshment and send you the Messiah already appointed for you, Jesus, whom the heavens must receive until the times of universal restoration of which God spoke through the mouth of his holy prophets from of old.” Acts 3:19-21
We are all called to follow the Lord in all that we are and I think this is why conversion stories are so important to many of us. They offer hope in times of despair. Because we are living in an evil age, St. Paul writes, ”And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God handed them over to their undiscerning mind to do what is improper.” Romans 1:28
Even so, St. John is clear, “But to those who did accept him he gave the power to become children of God, to those who believe in his name.” John 1:12
