Dolph Lundgren's motion picture debut came in the 1985 James Bond feature A VIEW TO A KILL. ‘I’m on screen for no more than ten seconds, if you blink you miss me...’. But, it was Dolph’s performance in ROCKY IV later that year that got him noticed worldwide. After a 9 month audition process among 5,000 hopefuls, Dolph was chosen by Sylvester Stallone to be his fearsome Soviet opponent in the ring, Captain Ivan Drago. From here Dolph build a solid career as an international action-hero & has since starred in more than thirty-five feature films. In the eighties & nineties, Lundgren played the classic action lead in such films as MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, SHOWDOWN IN LITTLE TOKYO co-starring the late Brandon Lee & BLACKJACK by Hong-Kong action legend John Woo. In the 90’s Lundgren also turned in some memorable performances as the main villain to other action stars, most notably in UNIVERSAL SOLDIER opposite Jean Claude Van Damme, directed by Roland Emmerich & “JOHNNY MNEMONIC opposite Keanu Reeves. Dolph made the move behind the camera to become a director six years ago. Since then, Dolph has directed five feature films. His production company Thor Pictures is currently developing several projects, which he will produce, star & direct. His two latest projects are a feature he co-wrote & directed, COMMAND PERFORMANCE produced by Avi Lerner & Nu Image Films – & ICARUS, a neo-noir thriller, shot in Vancouver, BC. In 2009 Dolph co-starred with fellow action star Jean-Claude Van Damme in UNIVERSAL SOLDIER REGENERATION, a sequel to the film that paired the two European actors back in the 90’s. Can music awaken love? We're in a period of global change and many are looking for reconnection with peace and comfort in these anxious times. Singer/songwriter Paul Luftenegger has made it his life's work to create music that helps unfold our inner heart through consciousness and intention. We'll hear two songs from his new album The Miracle of You, and Paul will share the story of his spiritual journey...and where he believes this focus on love and kindness can take us all.
Remember the vision where Jesus told Paul that he would testify in Rome, just as he had in Jerusalem (23:11)? Well, watch what a difference it makes in life to believe in the hand of God. Paul was slated for Rome to hero Caesar's answer. The voyage involved ships and the Mediterranean.
The trek started well for Paul. Julius, the centurion, treated Paul for kindness and respect. And, Luke was a companion. Somewhere along the way, bad decisions were made. Abandoning a harbor which was unsuited for over-wintering the captain hoped to reach one that was more suited to accomodate a ship carrying 276 passengers & crew. The storm that surprised them blew hope clean out of their hearts. After two weeks of aimless despair they finally got word of hope: "We're gonna lose everything—ship & cargo—but we'll all live through it," Paul told them.
How did Paul have such confidence? Jesus promised him his own life and those of his ship-mates. So, encouraging them to eat and taking some in their presence, Paul brought a glimmer of hope. Trusting God's promises not only made life better for Paul, it also encouraged those around him.
There is something almost like an allegory in Paul's journey to Rome: It was fraught with peril and destruction, but God brought him safely through it, along with many others, as well...kinda like what was happening with the storm brewing around Jerusalem!

In order to not feel degraded, humiliated and have your sense of self and self worth assaulted, you need to avoid being bulldozed by a controlling lover, boss or friend. When you are caught up in a truly destructive/controlling attachment, the best response may be to walk out. You have to understand that whatever you do will have a limited effect. These people are angry and afraid to let go of you.
Hence, it is your job to let go of them, protect yourself in the process… and grow.

The earliest writings in the New Testament are Paul's authentic letters. One indication that the Gospels were written later is that Paul never quotes from them. Further, Paul seldom quotes Jesus -- and when he does, they're not the same sayings we find in the Gospels. Despite his having written an entire biography of Paul in Acts, Luke seems to be curiously unaware of Paul's Life and ministry as reflected in Paul's authentic letters. None of Paul's letters are mentioned in Acts. Paul has become the most quoted and sermonized person in Christianity. But whom do we serve Jesus or Paul?
