ESE PRESIDENT PAUL KAGAME YAHAGARITSE GENOCIDE CYANGWA YARAYITANGIJE?

    in Politics Progressive

    HOST: Serge Ndayizeye

TOPIC:  ESE PRESIDENT PAUL KAGAME YAHARITSE GENOCIDE CYANGWA YARAYITANGIJE?

The BBC TWO revealed to the world what many of us knew about the Rwandan President. This is a man who is praised and supported by some personalities in the West, although they cannot tolerate a person of this kind in their own respective countries for a single day. Why then do they think his good for Rwandans?

This is the question the former Rwandan Army Chief Gen. Kayumba Nyamwasa asked   reporter Jane Corbin in a lengthy program that exposed  the most  horrifying  incidents of massacres of innocent Rwandans both in Rwanda and Congo by Kagame.

In this documentary there are many distortions of   facts on what might have happened in the hundred days during genocide. While Kagame and his Western backers  put the blame entirely on the  Hutus, the two American researchers have questioned the statistics of the population of Tutsis before and after genocide. They argue that before genocide Rwanda had an estimated 500,000 Tutsis and after genocide it is estimated that 300,000 survived. If the number of people died in the genocide is around One Million (1,000,000) it follows that 200,000 Tutsis and possibly some Hutus who were sympathetic to the RPF cause or wanted to protect the Tutsi where killed by interahamwe.

An Open Letter to Rwandans, Congolese and all our Friends to Protest against Dictator Kagame

    Dear Comrades,

I write this letter on behalf of Great Lakes Human Rights Link inviting you to come in big numbers when holding our protest against the Rwandan Dictator Paul Kagame which will take place on 20/10/2014 near SAVOY HOTEL in London.

There’s plenty of suffering in Rwanda and Congo, therefore this demonstration will show the World and the British People in particular the kind of a man their government supports with huge sums of money despite his poor human rights record.

President Kagame bears all the responsibility for the suffering of all the people of Rwanda and Congo, but also the British government that keep supporting the man recognised as the war criminal president.

Our protest therefore, will motivate the British taxpayer, although they are not involved in the politics to pursue their desired goals, they have a right to know from our voices where their money goes and encourage their government to pressure Kagame to put to an end to the system that does not only kill its own people but also in neighbouring Congo.

As you all know our protest is peaceful and must hold the highest degree of respect for others especially passers-by or those who might disagree with you about any issue regarding your cause, do not surround them, shove them, steal their phone and call them different labels. Having a different view of where blame and responsibility lie against Kagame does not make someone a proxy-combatant for you to attack.

NOBLE MARARA : PAUL KAGAME NA IBUKA ASSOCIATION BATAYE IBABA KURI BBC

    in Politics Progressive

    HOST: Serge Ndayizeye

TOPIC: PAUL KAGAME NA IBUKA ASSOCIATION BAYAYE IBABA KURI BBC

BBC spokesperson said: “The BBC strongly refutes the suggestion that any part of the programme constitutes a ‘denial of the genocide against the Tutsi’. There are repeated references to the mass killings of Tutsis by Hutus in 1994 and that this constituted genocide. The programme also includes an interview with the Director of the Genocide Museum at Murambi, a Tutsi and genocide survivor, and a convicted Hutu genocidaire who spoke of his part in the killing of thousands of Tutsis.

“The BBC has a duty to investigate difficult and challenging subjects and we believe the programme is a valuable contribution to the understanding of the tragic history of the country and the region, and of the governance of Rwanda over the last 20 years.”
