    Epiphany's House Welcomes Wil Gibson...

    in Poetry

There are some artists who are just rooted in your soul..who make no bullshyt excuses.....who just get right down to it...Wil Gibson is THAT artist... I promise..

Wil Gibson was born from a good idea and a bottle of bourbon. He was raised in some of the poorest communities northern Illinois and eastern Arkansas have to offer. He now lives in Portland (the one in Maine) and likes it a lot there (you probably would too). He writes too many love poems and not nearly enough of his novel. A proud (mistake prone) father of four who tries real hard and is still growing up.
He has performed with or opened for; Regie Gibson (no relation), Charlie Neville, Brother Ali, mybrightestdiamond, Toki Wright, Patricia Smith, and Kurtis Blow (among others) in dive bars, high schools, colleges, poetry slams, libraries, living rooms, restaurants, prisons, coffee houses, and churches from Bellingham, Washington to Boston, Massachusetts and beyond.
He was runner up at the 2010 and 2011 Arkansas Grand Slam, audience favorite 2010 Arkansas Grand Slam, three time (2008-2010) Portland, Maine/Port Veritas Grand Slam Champion, 2010 New Hampshire/Slam Free or Die Grand Slam Champion, has represented Portland, Maine six times (2008-2012, 2014) at the National Poetry Slam, including the 2011 team that made semifinals.
He has toured nationally solo and as part of:
Uncomfortable Laughter (w/ Beau Williams, Kait Rokowski, and Ryan McLellan)
guyslikeyou (w/ Beau Williams and Ryan McLellan)
is an honorary member of Chicago 4 Star Poetry(w/ Billy Tuggle, Andi Kauth, Rik Vazquez, Melanie “George” Decelles, Ashley Hart, and Patricia Smith)
and is a founding member of the Port Veritas artist collective.
He likes people and dogs a lot. He would like to pet your dog, talk to you a few minutes, and possibly give you a hug if that’s ok.

The Race Trim MotorSports Hour #12

    in Sports

Uncle Mark and Brandon are both back in the Frat House Sports garage chatting up the results from last week’s season-opening Daytona 500 and this week’s Race #2 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

That “Pesky” team member Joey Logano came right out of the gate and (probably) has already stamped his ticket into “The Chase” . . . six months from now. But what also came out of last week’s Daytona festivities was the loss of not one, but both of the Busch boys.

A few in the media were comparing the indefinite suspension of Kurt Busch by NASCAR to the NFL’s situation with Ray Rice, but is THAT a fair comparison? Meanwhile others are criticizing NASCAR and Daytona for the possible season-ending injury to Kyle Busch following a wreck in the Xfinity Series in the Monster Energy #54. Is THAT a fair criticism?

Finally, this is Jeff Gordon’s final year of competition before he retires. How can that be? He looks like a baby. Well, it’s time to play “Guess that Driver’s Age” . . . and, well, does age really matter in motor sports?

As usual, they've got the coffee. You bring the donuts and bring enough for the guys parked right now over in the "Frat House Sports Garage" . . . oh, and be sure to give them a call at 347 - 826 - 9964!

White History Month - Now that it's over, let's talk about black history daily.

    in Entertainment

    Oh my gosh.
Oscars.  All Star games. 50 shades of grey. Patricia Arquette and the white feminists claiming that black men are "attacking" them.

Grammys. Zimmerman is free and everyone is surprised that Bill O'Reilly lied.

Seriously. Folks are actually amazed that this clown would actually, ever be dishonest.

    Come on now.

But we have work to do anyway.

We need to get our Exposing Men's Rights Activism episodes up and running and we need help with graph art.

Speaking of help, here is a link to toss some coin over at the homey, Joy Loco who helps us, so let's keep it circular.
    Thank you.

Nicole Sandler, Julianna Forlano Go Gaga On Patricia Arquette's Jigaboo Feminism

    in Entertainment

Nicole Sandler and Julianna Forlano Go Gaga On Patricia Arquette's Jigaboo Feminism

So Nicole Sandler is at it again, bringing out the white supremacist side of her liberalism.

We've heard her tell Imani Gandi (angry black lady) that it's too bad she "doesn't feel comfortable in her own skin".
She couldn't help but quip about the "blacks" giving their kids "weird names".
And thought she's quite white and often self identifies as white, she has to remind you that she's Jewish whenever she disagrees with an uppity colored.

Julianna Forlano is convinced that big scary black bucks like Elon James White from This Week in Blackness are attacking her... (nice dog whistle).

It's another classic case of white folks reminding black folks where their place is and telling those talking negro chicks on twitter to tone it down and behave themselves.

We'll discuss, we'll laugh and we'll dig into that Fox clip about Jigaboo music.

Maybe after all of that, we'll have time for some news and comment.
