Many local churches are in desperate need of a good pastor and are presently seeking to secure the services of one.  But how does a local assembly go about selecting a shepherd in the midst of so many forthcoming and seemingly qualified candidates?  What is the screening process by which a new minister gets selected and who forms part of the so-called "Selection" or "Pulpit Committee"?  This mini course is designed to provide the biblical answers to all those tough questions.  No church elder, trustee, deacon or member should ignore this two hour study.

BISHOP MICHAEL PATTERSON "The Presence of God" on Faith Restoration Ministries - Dr. Barbara

    in Religion

We have all seen and heard from TELE-Evangelists Now we have REALITY-Evangelists who have distorted the word of God and  violated the principles of true Christianity. Those persons have brought reproach to the Holy Name of Jesus Christ by pretending to be His ministers. They are seducers and are leading thousands astray and into the bosom of hell. Do you want to hear the true doctrine of Jesus Christ? Do you want to hear preaching to help you in your Christian walk? Come and listen to Bishop Patterson as he presents the truth of God's word concerning holy living and righteousness.

Too many of those so-called preachers are only acting for the sake of filthy lucre not caring about their souls and those of the people they are deceiving. Surely indeed God will judge them in His own time. The word tells us that evil men and seducers [impostors] will continue [2 Timothy 3:13].

Pastoral Impartation and Accountability: How liable should pastors be?

    in Religion

Many of us have had experiences where we have had poor services provided by professionals. If a pastor is blatantly immoral or unethical in their professional capacity, should members of the church be able to file malpractice actions against them? Drawing from the recent legal woes of Memphis pastor Frank Ray, what can members do to be proactive in their faith while holding pastors accountable for ethical violations in ministry?  When it comes to ministry, should pastors be subject to liability and even legal action for providing poor services to members/nonmembers? How and to whom should the pastor be liable if there are valid complaints regarding their public ministry? Join Pastor Neal for this topic on Zera Today
