Our conversation this week has been all about torture, and now the Congress is fighting against reconciling with Cuba. We have accepted Torture as a way of life even though it is not how we as a nation have operated in the past. 130 Children shot dead in a school in Pakistan, six members of a family in Pennsylvania, killed by an ex-husband, before he commits suicide, and young Black men shot dead in the streets of our cities and in the parks and in Wal Mart. There needs to be a reconsideration of what is right as we pass through this life. We need to respect each other and wish only the best for one another. In light of the report saying the government used torture to get information about possible attacks, what would you do? Let's say it's your wife, daughter, husband, son or other loved one, would you do the unthinkable if you thought it would save their lives? Would you say, "I'm bigger than that, I don't do such barbaric things!" We say we hold ourselves to a higher standard! But let's make it very personal, you just caught the person that hurt your family and they are telling you more is to come. How far would you go to protect your family?

This week's show is our last regular episode of 2014, as Christmas Eve will be our "Best of Canadian Musician Radio 2014" edition, followed by our New Year's Eve "What's Hot for 2015" edition. Closing out 2014, we've got both Street Pharmacy and Trevor Guthrie on the program.
Ryan Guay, the mind behind Street Pharmacy, is set to drop his next full-length, Pharmanomics, in early January 2015. The album takes influence from the worlds of reggae, rock, ska, and early hip hop and features collaborations with a cool list of producers, including ex-illScarlett members Johnny Doherty and Will Marr, Gavin Brown (Billy Talent, Metric), and Adam Tune (Keys N Krates).
As for Trevor Guthrie, after first coming into the industry with soulDecision in the mid-'90s, the well-known songwriter and performer has seen his solo career take off since 2013, after he was featured on Armin van Buuren's track "This Is What It Feels Like" and Markus Schulz's "Until It's Gone." Mike catches up with Trevor about his current projects and what's in store for the new year.

There are millions of people globally who believe they've had an ET encounter as a contactee or an experiencer. Perhaps you are one of those people. Rejoining the show is Sasha Lessin, Ph.D. and his wife Janet Lessin on these fascinating topics, and Hawaiian legends and myths. Sasha Lessin Ph.D. (U.C.L.A. Anthropology, Ph.D.), author of Anunnaki: Gods No More, and producer of the hugely popular web site, www.enkispeaks.com, studied with the late Zecharia Sitchin, for many years. Sitchin asked Dr. Lessin to help disseminate written, graphic and traditional stories of ETs, hithertofore considered mythic “gods” on Earth from 450,000 – 300 BCE as well as the latest findings in astronomy that relate to the planet Nibiru from which the ETs came to Earth for gold to shield their planet, Nibiru. Lessin’s work documents the fallacy of Darwinian gradual evolutionism that posited human evolution from pre-cursor hominoids but failed in 140 years searching to find a missing link.
Janet Kira Lessin, a lifelong scholar and experiencer of ET contacts, and a student of Sitchin as well, is the voice of Ninmah consciousness and is dedicated to bringing the wisdom of Ninmah to the world. She has co-authored Anunnaki: Legacy of the Gods with Dr. Lessin. Together, Dr. Lessin and Janet, are historians of the giants from the planet Nibiru, and hosts of the popular BTR show Aquarian Radio. Janet authored the book Dance of the Souls, that catalogs her amazing paranormal life.

Howard E Richmond MD is a transformational psychiatrist with a message for consciously seeking people who want to shift energy-draining reactions to realign body, mind and spirit. This episode is about the power of self-care when dealing with anger. He will also break down the concept of "The Rules" and discuss whose rules are running our lives and how to get back into joy.
One of the lessons Dr. Richmond has learned over twenty years in private practice is the value of being “out of your mind” and into your heart. This philosophy is beautifully displayed in The Healing Field, his first novel. The Healing Field is a riveting account of the healing breakthrough that saved his patient’s life and transformed his own. The book chronicles the daring, out of the box healing journey with his anorexic patient “Lori,” who was determined to die. Between her desperation and his determination, they become locked in a battle for life that crosses conventional boundaries and reveals that healing and freedom come in surprising forms.
Dr. Richmond practices hot yoga daily in San Diego, California, where he lives with his wife, Elana, and their two German shepherd rescues, Jayde and Houdini. Read more at HowardRichmondMD.com
