On tonight’s episode of The Dymonds Radio Show, we want to speak to our listeners regarding education and employment. The most important thing that a Black person can do, is to go to school and get an education, regardless if you’re an adult or a teen! In order to get a career and not just a mediocre job it’s pertinent to go to school after high school and recieve a degree.
So tune in tonight to hear our perspective on the importance of employment and education in todays society.

The recent on goings in Conservative social media have gotten to the point of embarrassing, and extremely sad. From Bully’s, to fakes and frauds using the Conservative ‘Tag’ as a means to hawk their goods on Twitter when they are anything but what they claim to be. It pisses me off to watch so many far right Conservatives using the same tactics as the radical progressives have used against us for years.
I’m going to let loose on a number of these “Conservatives” that call my party home, most of these ‘dumber than a bag of rocks’ Conservatives are doing a good job at helping the liberals keep the senate, and putting another Clinton in the White House in 2016; the madness has to stop.

Today on our show we will begin things off by looking ahead to the last week of the NFL Preseason, we'll talk about on who we think should be getting the starting job for the Regular season and who should not.
We will look at a big improvment of what we like to call "Team Needs" as the New England Patriot traded Offensive Guard Logan Mankins to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for Tigh End Tim Wright and a 4th round draft pick. We will give our thoughts on the trade.
We will look at some of the MLB teams to let you know who we think still has a chance to make the Wild Card this season, we will still have lots of time left before the MLB regular season is over.
We will take your calls at 646-478-5337 and read your tweets via twitter to @Sonnycruise1, @rmdest and @PartlySCShow. Please like our page on Facebook at facebook.com/thepartlysonnycruiseshow
"And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." Gen. 1:28
I picture Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. They are young, alive with enthusiasm for the new world around them, daily discovering with delight the wonders of God's handiwork, marveling and rejoicing in the diverse beauty and intricate patterns of life around them.
I, however, wake up, shower and dress, kiss my spouse and kids good-bye and head out for another day at work. I return home each evening and my "other" job begins: I clean or fix those things that need my attention, take care of the yards, pay the bills, help with homework-anything I can do to be a loving partner to my spouse and to be a good parent to my children.
Don't get me wrong- I love my life and all the challenges it brings. but in the hustle and bustle of daily life, I miss that raw pleasure of discovering the world around me. I forget that the same intricate beauty that awed Adam and Eve is at my fingertips too. Instead, every night, I pull the covers over my head, sleep a heavy sleep and prepare for another day.

Elephants, Entrepreneurs and Edicators find the extraordinary in the ordinary and help those arouind them achieve excellence.
Everyday on The Teach Jim Show we find ways to work through the challenges and weightier matters of life (elephants) with informal, self-directed learning strategies and engaging exchanges with entrepreneurs and educators.
Today our career path most often leads to the next life cycle of our progress. The idea we are to have a lifelong career plan is crazy. Change is expodential so our chance to achieve excepeitonal excellence under such presures is the new reality. Leveraging our experience and the experience of others we are poised to exceed our ordinary selves and become extraordinary.
Our goal on The Teach Jim Show is to "stop thinking about elephants" and become the exceptional enrepreneurs and educators we were born to be. It is time to start dreaming aloud because dreaming's allowed !
And whatever you do....don't think about elephants, entrepreneurs or educators!

Author Sadeqa Johnson;
Sadeqa- Love in a Carry-on Bag is finally finished! It’s been a long time coming. Can you believe I have been lugging this story around for over ten years? I’m talking about before I was married, bought a house and birthed any of my three children. I’ve worked feverishly on these characters during naptime, between feedings, in the midst of sleep deprivation with a sheer desperation to produce a story that will burn your fingers as you gobble up the pages. Trust and believe it hasn’t been easy and I’ve had to hush and crush those voices of self-doubt, fear and anxiety that kept urging me to give up, put on my Jones New York and find a job. It’s with pride that I stayed the course and after many ups and downs, false starts, agents coming and going, and almost-publishing-deals we have arrived!
Along this wonderful journey called life, I’ve also discovered the power of meditation and the importance of being Present to each moment. It’s so easy to become consumed with the ever growing to-do list in our heads and never stop to enjoy the blossoms of the tree. I’ve been leading a group meditation class for over three years and if you’ll take a look at my inspirational blog, www.sadeqajohnson.com, you will see that I’m quite candid about what I’ve been through, go through and the lessons that I’ve learned that continue to root me and lead me closer to who I really am.

Our August On-Air Myeloma Support Group is discussing ways that patients and caregivers can help boost myeloma research. We have Pat Killingsworth lead the meeting with our guest for the month, Jenny Ahlstrom.
Jenny Ahlstrom was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2010. After treatment, she wanted to be prepared with a plan of action in case of relapse. She learned how few patients participate in clinical trials and started mPatient Myeloma Radio as a tool to help her and others learn about the latest in myeloma research. She is also the founder of the Myeloma Crowd site and the CrowdCare Foundation. She is a wife to a busy entrepreneur and investor and is the mother of 6 children. Prior to her favorite job as a mom, she worked for IBM as a systems engineer and marketing representative.
