David Roundtree on Paranormal Geeks Radio

    in Paranormal

David was born in 1954 in Suffolk, Virginia, but moved to Delray Beach, Florida, in the fall of 1963, where he first became interested in the paranormal. In 1965, his next door next door neighbor, Fred W. Grosstuck, a retired college professor and pattern maker, gave him a book called "Adventures in the Paranormal", essentially a collection of short stories of events from all over the world that were scientifically unexplainable. Fred also introduced him to Fate magazine. He proceeded to read every book about the paranormal he could get his hands on. He participated in the exploration of his first "haunted house" at the age of 17 in Boynton Beach, Florida.

David is a professional member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Audio Engineering Society, the International Frequency Sensor Association, and is also affiliated with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He was recently invited to join the Mathematics Association of America.

Julie Ferguson & Lee Speigel on Paranormal Geeks Radio

    in Paranormal

Julie had this to say: As the author of the popular blog "Above the Norm", I enjoy connecting with people who are interested in history, the Southwest, paranormal investigation, photography and urban exploration. As well as being an author, I am also a photographer, artist, and show my talents on my design blog (http://juliefergusondesigns.blogspot.com). My numerous road trips in the Southwest have inspired my books, blogging, photography, art style, and elements to work into my crafts in my etsy shop, Back Roads Treasures (https://www.etsy.com/shop/JulesBackroadsCrafts).

Lee Speigel has been interested in the idea of UFOs, aliens, living dinosaurs and the whole range of topics that often overlap the worlds of science and unexplained phenomena since he was a young boy.

His first foray into the pursuit and investigation of these topics was in 1975 when he produced and wrote a documentary record album, “UFOs: The Credibility Factor,” for CBS Inc. It marked the first time that military and scientific voices came together to disclose their personal UFO encounters and to call for government recognition of the phenomenon.

Lee has written hundreds of stories covering unexplained phenomena and UFOs for the AOL-Huffington Post Media Group in New York.

Ursula Bielski on PARANORMAL GEEKS RADIO

    in Paranormal

Ursula Bielski is the founder of Chicago Hauntings, Inc. and the host of PBS' "The Hauntings of Chicago" (WYCC).
An historian, author, and parapsychology enthusiast, she has been writing and lecturing about Chicago's supernatural folklore and the paranormal for nearly 20 years, and is recognized as a leading authority on the Chicago region's ghostlore and cemetery history. She is the author of five popular and critically acclaimed books on the same subjects, all published by Lake Claremont Press.
Ursula grew up in a haunted house on Chicago's north side and received an early education in Chicago history from her father, a Chicago police officer, who introduced Ursula to the ghosts at Graceland Cemetery, Montrose Point and the old lockup at the storied Maxwell Street Police Station. Since that time Ursula has been involved in countless investigations of haunted sites in and around Chicago, including such notorious locales as Wrigley Field, the Congress Hotel, the Indiana Dunes, the Red Lion Pub, Hull House, Bachelors Grove Cemetery, Rose Hill Cemetery, haunted Archer Avenue, Chinatown, the Eastland disaster site, Dillinger's Alley and the St. Valentine's Day Massacre site. Science vs. Spirituality: A Supernatural Dilemma

No thinking human being disregards or disrespects the role of science and its innumerable contributions to humankind. However, its legitimacy does not negate the beliefs of those who seek truth and understanding beyond the narrow confines established by a community with a tendency to dismiss anything that cannot be proved by its current methodology. Such is the case with skeptics who null and void all supernatural experience, as if it is not a part of the grand equation. Perhaps those who remain closed to the possibilities should consider the potential for discovery; the virtual foundation of all scientific inquiry. Its existence is not predicated upon the say-so of others. Rather than declaring paranormal activity an illusion perpetrated by the imagination on itself, or some complex mind/body interaction, consider another explanation. A suggestion: perhaps the time has arrived for the scientific-minded among us, those who frequently attempt to invalidate such experience, to consider that they might not yet grasp the notion.

Is it entirely implausible that “reality” is more fluid and malleable a concept than science allows? Case in point: The Deep Field. In 2004 NASA aimed a camera, The Hubble Space Telescope, into what they presumed to be “dark space”, a black void in the cosmos. It was not expected to yield any particular return on the effort. Instead, what was revealed through a series of photographs expanded the human consciousness in unimaginable ways, fundamentally altered by a burgeoning concept of the Universe. Scientists gasped while the rest of us stared in wide-eyed wonder.

M.K Davis on Paranormal Geeks Radio

    in Paranormal

MK has such a wide array of knowledge and abilities that it's hard to explain this ParaGeek King! If you read his blog, The Davis Report, you know he doesn't hold back on subjects he's willing to tackle. His most outstanding YouTube Channel needs to be subscribed to because you aren't learning about Sasquatchery and such if you don't follow his work at eludicating details from videos sent to him from around the world. He also is on the radio show Bigfoot Central on the first Tuesday of every month at 8 pm EST and believe me, this show reveals so much more than you find anywhere else in mainstream cryptid searches.

MK is best known for being the first to handle the infamous Patterson-Gimlin original film and stabilizing it so that we could get a steady and clear look at it. He has done amazing work since so that we can elucidate every detail and determine for ourselves whether we think it's real or hoax.

He has spent mind-bending hours pouring over videos and photos, but he is also as much a field man as a software master. MK goes regularly to historic sites, ancient sites, and sites of infamous Sasquatch encounters and ancient giant finds. He reads extensively about the subjects and likes to understand the practical applications. He is as much an adventurer as an intellect and never stops asking the big questions and looking at evidence from every angle.
