World Footprints is broadcasting from Sochi, Russia where we have just arrived for the country’s first ever Winter Paralympic Games @Sochi2014. Before we left the United States, however, we caught up with Taylor Imus, a young journalism student from Ball State University (BSU) who traveled to Sochi with other BSU student journalists. She shared her Olympic experience and some helpful insights into this city that has gained tremendous international attention.
You'll also hear from Charlie Huebner, the Chief of the Paralympics for the US Olympic Committee about the history of the Paralympic Games, the purpose of the Games and why they continue to be a mystery despite growing media attention.
Finally, you'll meet Patrick McDonald, a champion curler who is competing on Paralympic Curling Team USA. We'll hear Patrick's inspiring story and learn more about this sport that is growing in popularity.
Join World Footprints as we explore American History through the voices and houses of the country's Founding Fathers with award-winning author Myron Magnet. In his book, The Founders at Home: The Building of America, 1735 - 1817, Magnet says that among all of our founders accomplishments the American Revolution has been the country's only enduring success. We are also going to review American History from another angle--America's Whiskey Trail. Saturday Evening Post contributor Todd Pitock will take us to the birth places of America's native spirit. Finally, we will revisit our coverage of the Sochi Paralympic Games with a post script segment. You will meet another favorite of the Games when we introduce two-time Silver Medalist Mark Bathum and his guide Cade Yamamoto. Mark and Cade won their medals in the Men's Super G and Super Combined Alpine events for the visually impaired.

Four games of the Western Conference Finals are in the books, and the Warriors lead the Rockets by a 3-1 margin. That overall mark may not seem surprising, but the route the series has taken to get there has been a bit bizarre.
For two games, the teams appeared almost evenly matched, with Stephen Curry and James Harden — the league’s top two finishers in MVP voting — trading blow for blow in two games that went down to the wire in Oakland.
Then in Game 3, the Warriors absolutely blew the doors off of Houston, grabbing a commanding 3-0 series lead by virtue of a 35-point beatdown in Toyota Center.
But the Game 4 that many predicted would be Golden State’s title coronation for the Western Conference? Instead, the Rockets climbed off the mat in stunning fashion, racing out to a record-setting 45-point first quarter and cruising to a 128-115 victory to extend the series. The Rockets, now 4-0 against elimination in these playoffs, became just the second team in NBA history to win four straight elimination games by double digits in the same postseason.
Ben DuBose of Sheridan Hoops is joined by Josh Reese of CBS Radio in Houston to break it all down.
Just how historically great have Curry and Harden been?
How scary was Curry's Game 4 injury scare?[/
Was not suspending Dwight Howard for his Game 4 elbow the right call?
Did Klay Thompson find himself during Curry’s brief Game 4 absence?
Who is the X-factor for the Rockets after Harden and Howard?
Does Steve Kerr need to make any significant adjustment for the Warriors?
Who wins Game 5?

We'll discuss the Steelers' quotes from earlier this week regarding the team's Week One matchup against the Patriots, while also offering some Fact or Fiction predictions about the 2015 Steelers that will include discussions about the Steelers' offense's shot at being No.1 in the NFL, the defense and how many turnovers it will record in '15, DeAngelo Williams' future production and what Pittsburgh's record will be after three games.
Last week, the Steelers uniforms were named as the NFL's best by ESPN. Which variation of the Steelers' jersey is your favorite? Chris Carter and I will discuss which is our favorite Steelers uniform.
Co-host and fellow BTSC writer Chris Carter and I believe that the 1978 Steelers are the best team in NFL history. In light of the NFL's Network's Dynasty Week celebration last week, what team do we think could rival the 1978 Steelers as the best team in NFL history? We'll break down the other great teams in NFL history to see if there really is a worthy challenger that could go toe-to-toe with the great Steelers of '78.
