    Battling addiction in Bergen County

    in News

Bergen County - like many parts of the country - has been coping with an epidemic of heroin addiction and related problems.

Join us on Record Talk Radio on Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. when we'll discuss what's being done to address the problem.

Our guest will be Sue Debiak, coordinator of the Office of Alcohol & Drug Dependency within the County Department of Health Services.

Debiak recently briefed the Bergen County Freeholders on the work her office is doing to combat addiction throughout the county.

As a result of that briefing, three freeholders urged County Executive James Tedesco to "begin a dialog" with Bergen Regional Medical Center aimed at expanding the number of beds in the hospital's detox unit.

Have a question for Debiak? Email your suggestions to me at ensslin@northjersey.com.

Ryan Garland, Paradyme Lending on The Real Estate Investor Hour with Pete Asmus

As host of The REI Hour, Pete has interviewed politicians, community leaders, Miss California, celebrities and real estate investors who should be celebrities (they are in their eyes!) just to name a few.  Because of Pete's personality and desire to make it entertaining his natural inclination is to position you as a rock star.  He realized early on the better his guests feel the better they would do, so he started focusing on really what made them. Pete understood there are a ton of people doing what ever profession his guest was doing, but everyone has something that makes them Different.

"Our goal was to create a show that was real, meaning the opportunities were real, the investors were real and the strategies were real. Everyone we bring on we interview prior and make sure they are a good fit." -Pete Asmus

When you're on the Real Estate Hour with Pete Asmus, he pumps you up so much you get off the radio in a full sprint.  It's like drinking 15 cups of of the strongest espresso you can find and adding purpose into it.

Listen to The REAL ESTATE Investing Hour with Pete Asmus every Wednesday from 10-11am Pacific

The R.E.A.L Show REAL EXPECTATIONS ABOUT LIFE!

    in Radio

Saladeem Dewberry 08/20/1987 Born Daytona Beach Florida, Raised in Calypso North Carolina, Got a scholarship to play college ball at Saint Leo university, in Tampa Florida. Mom died when i was 12 from breast cancer, Dad died when I was 13 from a fatal car accident. Right after ended up having my older sister become my guardian, bounced around high schools, from Florida, to North carolina to back to Florida, a total of 5 different high schools in 4 years. Basketball and poetry was my way out of my own thoughts. Had my first kid at 27 which was life changing for me because you see something so small just grow and grow daily, attributes attitudes and they own little personality. Just makes you want to be better and better. Currently i'm training here in Florida to better my basketball skills and head overseas to a new country to influence and be influenced. The other countries respect an African american so much that it just feels you are royalty. everyday is a day to get better.
