    Sunday on the Front Stoop

    in Energy

Why are so many people being killed around the world?

Think of that sad "terrorism" around our world.  Is such "terrorism" being provoked by our dependence on foreign oil and other natural resource under their ground ?  Dennis, Jeff, and Susan will discuss this interesting issue.

HREM, Human Renewable Energy Measurement.  All these years when America had free grade school and free high school, why has college been SO expensive?  When a student graduates high school the average age is 18.  That's the same age when he or she can become a military soldier.  If they could not afford that expensive college, they've been told to just go overseas for a few years and they will afford higher education.

The sad news is that some of these teenagers never returned home and died in the army or navy or air force.  Even some that were lucky enough to return home, committed suicide after leaving these wars.  When they return home, they are reminded of their loving religious upbringing.  They had been taught to "love thy neighbor" or "thou shalt not kill".  If they were told overseas to "go in that house and kill whoever you see" they now mourn for all those innocent men or women or children that they killed under military order.

Fortunately, President Obama is now recommending that college becomes as free to our students as was their grade school and high school.

As an example, Saudi Arabia is No. 6 on the list of dictatorships in our world.  They get most of their weapons from countries like ours and we get a low price for the oil from under their ground.  Instead of sending our boys and girls overseas to get that good price on their oil, why not switch to solar or wind power?  That could also put an end to Climate Change on our planet.

    in Music

Our mission is simple, to Educate, Provide Awareness, and Fund Researchers who are committed to finding a cure.
StopCAIDnow is focused on providing tools to better educate Doctor’s and the community on ChildhoodAutoInflammatory diseases. There is such a strong need to understand these diseases so proper diagnosis can be made, and treatment can be started. This will help alleviate the inflammation process, and the pain that comes with it. The need for proper diagnosis is urgent for the prognosis of these diseases. If left untreated damage to the tissues, organs and vision(for some) will not only be irreversible, but devastating.
The foundation is working amongst top Doctor’s and Pathologist who are researching better ways to treat, educate, and finding a cure for CAID. The foundation is accepting proposals from such Doctor’s and will fund their project. The foundation provides a letter to those who fund the project explaining how their money is being used. We recognize those who help fund are a part of making the projects possible and get us closer to a CURE. The foundation not only recognizes this support, but is grateful. All major supporters/Sponsors will be listed on the website, and at the Gala.

It's a pleasure having I Mother Earth's Brian Byrne on the show, especially since we get to chat about the band's upcoming appearance at the Unison Jam on May 6th at the Phoenix Concert Theatre. The money raised during the initiative, which also features the likes of Finger Eleven, Kim Mitchell, k-os, Jason McCoy, The Trews, and many others, will go to the Unison Benevolent Fund and help those in the music industry during their time of need.

As for IME, they're currently promoting their hot new single, "The Devil's Engine" at radio. Fans will also have a chance to hear it from the stage during some summer performances, including a slot at WTFest in Brantford, ON on June 13th.

Learn How Vermont's Ivory Sales Support Terrorism

    in Environment

It is only a matter of time before elephants are extinct. So, why are people in the state of Vermont undecided as far as passing H297 without exemption which would ban the sale and purchase of ivory? Last year NJ banned the sale and purchase of ivory. Can Vermont follow New Jersey's lead? In this segment of The Organic View Radio show, host June Stoyer talks to Ashley McAvey, Vermont Ambassador, ElephantsDC.org about an initiative to ban the sale of ivory in the state of Vermont. Do You Know How to Fund Your Living Trust?

    in Legal

Whether property is funded into a trust is primarily a matter of intent. With every comprehensive estate plan you should include not only an “Assignment of Personal Property,” which explicitly states that all personal property is intended to be funded into the trust, but also instructions as to how all other types of estate assets should be transferred into your trust.

In this show, Bill and Rick discuss how each asset "type" is funded and what you should have prepared to ensure that end.
