The Bible tells us to " LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF." Imagine a world if people adhered to this. The news is filled with anger, hatred and extremism that shows itself in wars and massive executions of innocent people. It boggles the mind about the extent of Anti-Semitism and people denying African Americans their basic civil rights. In many parts of the world, there is also a denial of women's rights and gay rights, just to name a few ongoing issues.
Hear what Chap Oscar Smith has to say as we explore these HUGE problems.
What can you do to make the world a better place? I believe it starts with one person and one positive action at a time. What positive action can you take? What action will you take? If not now, when?

ENVISION THIS: When we surrender the need to figure it all out, and cultivate the ability to let it all in, then our earth walk becomes a sacred dance of healing service on the planet.
Peruvian Shaman, don Oscar Miro-Quesada calls all of us who have an earnest desire to walk a path as spiritual pioneers his “cherished shamanic bodhisattva kin.” He wholeheartedly welcomes us to The Heart of the Healer: “Your presence in the unfolding of a spiritually evolved humanity is being celebrated throughout all worlds.“
We last interviewed don Oscar regarding his book, Lessons In Courage: Peruvian Shamanic Wisdom for Everyday Life. We barely touched on his other accomplishments. He is visionary founder of The Heart of the Healer Alliance, originator of Pachakuti Mesa Tradition cross-cultural shamanism, and a founder of Sipapu, a beautiful Retreat Center in the heart of the beautiful Madre de Dios rainforest in Peru. “The vision of Sipapu is to regenerate earth-honoring communities by demonstrating ecological sustainability and cultivating the ceremonial arts of the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition. The mission of Sipapu is to serve individuals and communities through educational and experiential residential experiences and field programs that nurture deep connections between earth, sacred community, and spiritual growth.” In September, he will lead an extraordinary journey to the Amazon Rainforest, Machu Picchu, Cusco, Challwanka, and Nazca.
“Don Oscar is a master at creating sacred community using the magic of joy, love and compassion as the strands that gently weave us together as a planetary family.” We are honored to share this warm, loving human being who deeply cares about people and our planet again with our listeners.
Join host Pamela Marie Edmunds this evening as she welcomes to her show Author Don Oscar Miro-Quesada. They will be discussing don Oscar's book "Lessons in Courage; Peruvian Shamanic Wisdom for Everyday Life."
