Author, gallery owner, and Miami native, Stacy Conde, grew up in and around Miami’s burgeoning art scene.
Conde’s love of art and design flourished under the tutelage of her mentor, legendary fashion designer, illustrator, and Biba founder Barbara Hulanicki. Over the course of ten years, Ms. Conde worked on a variety of projects with Hulanicki, as well as Island Records founder Chris Blackwell, from costuming, to complete renovations of historic art deco hotelsand nightclubs. The collaboration continues to this day, as Conde serves asHulanicki’s artist representative in the North American market.
Conde has recently returned to Miami after nearly a decade in Chicago. Delighted by the growth and diversity in Miami’s art community, Conde has opened a new gallery in Little Havana, Conde Contemporary. She is again spotlighting contemporary art with a focus on Cuban works. Her inspirational book, The Red Speck, an allegorical journey into the self, is available on Amazon.
Day of November 22nd 1963? Al Suarez and Chris Jay discuss JFK's legacy, and the fascist takeover of the US government since his assassination. Al being from Boston this show is particularly important to him. We will also discuss the Alliance for Progress and the Peace Corps which JFK started to promote internationalism and better the reputation of the US in the world, which was infiltrated against JFK's will by the CIA. JFK wanted to abolish the Federal Reserve, the CIA, and keep the military industrial complex in check. He also wanted to end the Cold War and have the trainers leave Vietnam so there would be no escalation there which is what Johnson did. It is probable he also wanted the quarantine against Cuba lifted and a settlement in the conflict there. Instead we have to this day an embargo against Cuba. There is no doubt the establishment made an example of him, but his legacy lives on, and the fire of revolution has not been extinguished. As the youth volunteered in the Peace Corps and the Alliance for Progress in Latin America, many did so from the inspiring words the president said at his inauguration "Do not ask what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." Such was the things of true patriotism. He also said "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable." Him and his brother Bobby ended up making the ultimate sacrifice, along with their older brother who gave his life in WWII. Being from a rich family, they did not need at the time money from the banks or corporations to corrupt them, with JFK's military career, he would not be intimidated by the generals either. With enemies all around, JFK's fate was set. We will be doing the show an hour and a half, callers welcome.

Imagine a country where righteous Christian pastors are ordered by the government to surrender their sermons, emails, and texts regarding statements about homosexuality. Where would such an outrageous thing happen? Cuba, North Korea, China, Iran? No…it happened in Houston, TX. Pastor Hernan Castaño tells Rick about the day a city official walked into his bible study class and served court papers to him.

Tonight will be part two on my topic on where was and has slavery lasted the longest? And why isnt it being taught in school when local history and world history is taught to us as children? Why do we learn of this horrific history by only B/Academia and not W/Academia if it actually occurred on the scale that we have been led to believe? How many of we have memory of the Trans Atlantic slave trade also called the Maafa? However we watch movies on slavery played by White and Black actors and now it is seared in our minds that these awful things happened because now a (movie) told us it did? They did the same thing with the movie the TEN Commandments. Which I actually own by the way. But the world knows the Biblical Hebrews were never a white people, and yet because of this movie Polish Germans have been allowed to pass themselves off as Biblical Black Jews. Wow, that is majic. Are African or Black Educators responsible for not teaching true history to Black children globally? Ayiti/Haiti occupies small satellite islands known for tourists, including; lle-a-Vache", which includes Port Morgan and Abaka Bay. In French, the country's nickname is La Perle des Antilles (The Pearl of the Antilles), because of its natural beauty. It is the most mountainous nation in the Caribbean and the country's highest point is Pic la Selle, at 2,680 metres 8,793 ft. By area, Haiti is the third largest Caribbean nation after Cuba and the Dominican Republic with 27,750 square kilometres 10,714 sq mi (roughly the size of the U.S. state of Hawaii or the country of Belgium by population, Haiti is the second largest Caribbean nation, with an estimated 10.7 million people, just under a million of whom live in the capital city, Port-au-Prince. How long have BA's really been enslaved and should we all be labeled Africans?
