    Professionally: Raynesha Pittman is the CEO, Founder and a author at Conglomerate Ink, an Urban Literature publishing company established November 2010 to help authors expose and share their talents of storytelling while developing discipline in their craft. In May 2011 Raynesha was offered the opportunity to help promote literacy nationwide by childhood friend, author and now publisher Terry L. Wroten by joining the West Coast Authors Movement also known as W-CAM where Raynesha not only fills the position of an author on the team but is also over website design and management and acts as W-CAM's Southern liaison due to her living in the South. Her greatest literary achievement came in January 2014 when she was signed to write2eat publications under the legendary K'wan Foye.

    Titles: Raynesha's debut novel titled "KISMET" the first book of the "Beyond the Bedroom Series" an urban fiction drama with a touch of erotica was published March 2011 under her label. The second volume in the series and an amazon kindle best seller "Kismet 2-Some Things You Will Never Understand" was published in November 2011. She also has a story titled, "Scratch a Liar, find a Thief" in the anthology "Traces of My Lipstick- Gangstress Elite tales" that was published under Ink Game publishing in December 2011. She is currently working on turning the short story into a full length novel. "Kismet 3- When a Man's Fed up",the final installment of the Kismet trilogy was released January 2013."Dog Food", which is the author's release under write to eat was released on 07-08-2014

    Accomplishments: Raynesha was nominated in the Hip Hop of the Ville awards for best Indie author of the year in January 2012 and was also nominated in the Prodigy Publishing Group's Second Annual Urban Literary Awards for most likely to succeed debut author of the year in February 2012.

    Move to Amend Reports w/ Laura Bonham & Egberto Willies

    This week features Ohio Move to Amend organizer Michael Greenman to talk with us about the Interfaith Caucus and the role of faith and conscience in the movement to amend the Constitution.


    Since 2000, Michael Greenman he has focused on efforts to eliminate Corporate Personhood.  As a member of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbus, Michael is the lead coordinator of the MTA affiliate: “Move to Amend – Central Ohio”.  He recently led a team of UUs who, during the denomination’s annual gathering in June 2013, obtained the denomination’s approval to encourage congregations all around the country to focus on supporting the passage of a constitutional amendment to declare that “corporations are not persons” and “money is not speech.” He is currently collaborating with MTA as Moderator of the Interfaith Caucus, bringing together other communities of faith and ethical values to form a coalition to build from our common values to restore real democracy without corporate domination.

    Ask Ms. Bodacious Presents Rap Artist ShellBe Raw

    ShellBe RAW is mostly known for her audacious rap style that is often described as pretty but gritty. She officially began rapping in 2004, but has been writing poetry and songs since she was a young child. After gaining notoriety in the Baltimore Hip Hop community for numerous features, and performances from 2004-2005. She released her awaited mixtape "Do You Like it RAW?" in 2006. That year she also was voted "Best Female Rapper" by the Baltimore City Paper. From 2006-2013 ShellBe focused on traveling the world (Egypt, Germany, The Netherlands, France, Poland, Dominican Republic, etc.) and reconnecting with family. In 2014, she decided to release a few songs, and work on features with other artists. In this same year she began hosting "Cool Energy" an online radio show that covered current events, pop culture, controversial topics, music, and sports. She continues to look for hosting opportunities, but in the meantime she has an active Facebook community that participates in her topics.

By 1981 my company had become the largest manufacturer of diecut dollhouse kits in the world we were doing about $4 billion in sales with over 40 employees. I had the good fortune to attract some really great people that took full responsibility for all the day-to-day operations. This enabled me to travel study meditate exercise and play way too much tournament poker. So now in the final stage of my life I would like to share with younger people some of the useful things that I've learned over the years.     Montgomery County Teacher of the Year

    Three Montgomery County Public Schools teachers are in the running for an annual award that honors one of the area’s top educators.


    The finalists for the county’s 2015–2016 Teacher of the Year award can be found leading classrooms in Chevy Chase, Gaithersburg and Damascus.


    Josephine Luster teaches in The Center Program for the Highly Gifted at Chevy Chase Elementary School, Jill Raspen is a sixth-grade English teacher at Ridgeview Middle School in Gaithersburg and Joseph Gannon Jr. teaches social studies at Damascus High School.


    Ryan Miner, host of A Miner Detail of the Change Montgomery County radio network, will interview Ms. Luster, Ms. Raspen and Mr. Gannon about their nominations for Montgomery County Teacher of The Year, and will listen in as they each discuss what drives them as educators and how their students challenge them inside of the classroom.

    CELEBRATING WOMEN’S HISTORY, LIVING OUR HISTORY

    Continuing on our series on strong women leaders, on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 co-hosts Ina Anthony, Terry Boi Adams and Michelle Brown welcome Dr. Wilhelmina Perry, the founder of the LGBT Faith Leaders of African Descent.


    Dr. Wilhelmina Perry holds a masters in social work and a doctorate in human behavior and educational leadership. She has been a social work faculty, administrator of not- for- profit institutions and community educator.
    In 2002, she became a member of The Riverside Church and shortly thereafter would become the convener of Marantha, the LGBT ministry. Dr. Perry was a co-founder and Vice President of the Interfaith Task Force for Homeless LGBT Youth. Under the work of the Task Force, three shelters were opened in local churches.


    Dr. Perry has been an advocate for LGBT same-gender loving people as well as for marriage equality. She held the position of convener of the Roundtable People of Color under Empire State Pride Agenda. In 2010, this group reformed itself as an independent organization and would become the LGBT Faith Leaders of African Descent. Dr. Perry currently serves as Administrative Coordinator
    Dr. Perry was honored in 2013 with an award from Harlem Pride. She has received recognitions from Empire State Pride Agenda and GLAAD. She became a Purpose Prize Fellow in 2014. In 2014, she received the Lifetime Achievement Award from LGBT Kwanzaa Community of NYC, Inc.


    She has contributed many articles on LGBT youth, same-gender families, “coming out”, clergy and attitudes towards LGBT people and President Obama’s support of marriage equality. These articles have appeared in Caribbean Life, The Daily News, The Amsterdam News, Huffington Post and The Positive Community.

    Trudy Stiles is a New Adult author, mom to two beautiful children, and married to the love of her life. She is the author of the Forever Family series including "Dear Emily" and "Dear Tabitha".     Trudy is a music junkie and you'll know that she's writing when you see her plugged into her laptop with her earbuds in. Her playlist is unique and is a must for her writing sprints. 

    When she's not writing, she's carting her children to their various activities while avoiding any kind of laundry or housework. She also loves to run along the boardwalk of the beautiful New Jersey shore.

    She's always been an avid reader and frequently escapes into the fictional worlds of the many characters that she has come to love. Well, now there are some fictional characters in her head dying to get out!

    This first story is called "Dear Emily" and was released in December 2013. "Dear Tabitha" will be released in March 2014.
