The Inspiration for The Soul's Intent

    in Spirituality

On this Memorial Day weekend, I thought it worthvhile for listeners to hear the interview that brought Nancy Herold and I together for the first time. She helps reveal my inspiration for this show!  Though it is a pre-recored episode, listeners will learn why The Soul’s Intent has been my best selling book. It is largely because the reader has a front row seat to the inner journey or the road less traveled. Many say: "Ernie's book has helped me to live a more meaningful and spiritually integrated life." If we all have the capacity to 'witness' our lives objectively then why are we so hard on ourselves? We all have our own personal above observer. A vantage point that, by its very nature, requires presence. In fact, accessing this 'observer' means we can stop focusiing on the past and no longer have to fear the future. Tune in as Nancy gains answers to these and many other questions about the bridge between our spiritual and emotional self. The Soul’s Intent (the book) is popular with spiritual seekers because it provides a transformative way of knowing the inner self. It is my hope that my radio show is an extension of this 'knowing' each week.

Integrity as Alignment with our Hearts Intent

    in Spirituality

Nothing is more in our awareness than the collapse of integrity in our culture. So many of the institutions and anchors we used to trust are surviving scrutiny. Having integrity means that you can be trusted to do what you say you will do. It also means that your actions are congruent with your feelings.  One place for certain that we can restore this spiritually potent quality is inside ourselves.  Join Nancy Herold of Sacred Fire Living and myself as we discuss how issues of personal power, control, and the need for approval and recognition can knock us off course regarding integrity. Learn how transparency actually allows one’s authenticity to come through. There is no longer a need to create an illusion to self-protect. Tonight the Soul’s Intent discusses the wisdom of mind and heart; how ‘not knowing’ opens us to a deeper understanding of life; how real empowerment comes from self-acceptance, integrity, and commitment to our own personal growth. Tune in and learn how integrity comes from a deep connection with self. New wisdom suggests it is characterized by a willingness to speak our truth, to address our shadow issues honestly, and to complete issues with ourselves and others.

    The Original Red Pill Show

    in Current Events

The Orignal Red Pill Show was inspired by the 2008 financial meldown. Wallstreet and the "Too big to fail" banks were bailed out with taxpayer money while mainstreet was left out in the cold to pay for mistakes made by the smartest people on the planet. That motivated Red to look into our finaincial system, and what he found was latent systems in place created by The Federal Reserve Act. Still not sure what to think, Red went further down the rabbithole and discovered more latent issues.

By Red's bank not keeing their end of the agreement for loan modification, his credit rating was destroyed. This caused a chain reaction which forced him to inject his life savings into his company or make the decsion to fail. In order to keep the company afloat, and keep valued employees their jobs, Red decided to wipe out his life savings which was taxed at over 50% and was considered income. Times have been tough since then with no help whatsoever from big banks to do the right thing. Big banks have seen higher profits and are making more money while mainstreet barely getting by even with good intentions like the Affordable Health Care Act.

This insired Red to go even further donw the rabbihole and look at issues like eduaction, a solid currency for a nation, hyperinflation and study the history of the Romans. Apparently, we are repeating the same mistakes of that Great Empire and quite possibly World War II Germany. We cannnot repeat these mistakes or we will suffer the consequences that our ancestors have experienced.

Movies like Star Wars, America, Captain America, Monumental and more have inspried Red to find his answers to his questions. Instead of how we got here, Red asks " Why did we get here"? The answers are nothing short of a poorly made science fiction movie. We are living in difficult and challenging times and need to ban together to make it through by becoming aware of what is really going o around us.

    Holding It Together: Intrapsychic Forces

    in Spirituality

The idea of union between everything (inside and out) is the subject of holding together.  Harmonious union is secured by the authority of the ego, but we must ask if the ego is worthy of this position before we submit the total self to its control. Tune in tonight as Nancy Herold and I discuss how success in spiritual work is determined by the proper integration of these intrapsychic forces. When we feel separated and confused then we are off-balance. Willpower is the catalyst for unity but, do we have the requisite willpower to facilitate our goal of holding it together? This show teaches that there are many dimensions of awareness and the Work is to maintain benevolent (original intent) contact with them all. Psychologically, holding it together is actually the Self (or heart) surrounded by its many complexes. Though the human psyche has its own coherence, these inner complexes are continuously orbiting each other in cycles of change. Tune in as we discuss how we must respond to these changes consciously and coherently. In doing so, all of the forces eventually become synchronized with the soul’s intent.  The ego’s responsibility is to do this in real-time (present tense) for the benefit of the Self. Learn tonight that it is important that we recognize the difference between our essential nature and the human ego. Ignoring this distinction is how the ego is falsely installed as our default compass.

Bryan Kest: The Original Power Yoga

    in Lifestyle

Bryan Kest has been practicing yoga since 1979 and has been teaching since 1985. He developed his unique, distinctive style of yoga, Original Power Yoga, in 1979. Over the years, this style, an amazing workout for the body, mind and spirit, has made him a well-known, popular teacher across the country and around the world.

His mainstream popularity is matched by an authentic foundation in the ancient practice of yoga and a long path of development as a yogi (a practitioner of yoga). At age 15, Bryan uprooted from his native Detroit home to make a life change in Hawaii. He moved to live with his father, a doctor, who understood the benefits of yoga. Like many of us, Bryan originally thought yoga was nothing more than strange contortions, but that changed when his father introduced him to a physical style of yoga called Ashtanga. This appealed to him immediately, and he soon observed great changes in himself, both physically and mentally. Yoga quickly became his passion, one that would take him to India for a year to study with the great yoga masters of the world, PattabhiJois. He has been continuing on his yoga path ever since.

Tonight's Topic: The Amazing Power of Deliberate Intent: Living the Art of Allowing Part 1 by Esther and Jerry Hicks

Description of the book: (copied from the book's back cover)

This leading edge book by Esther and Jerry Hicks, who present the teachings of the Non-Physical entity Abraham, is about having a deliberate intent for whatever you want in life, while at the same time balancing your energy and living the Art of Allowing along the way.  But it's important to note that the awareness of the need to balance your energy is much more significant than goal-setting or focusing on ultimate desires.  And it is from this very important distinction that this work has come forth.
