In today's world, organizational change is not an event, it is a lifestyle! If organizations are to survive and thrive, you, the leader, must be able to steer them in ways that anticipate change and respond effectively to shifts in the internal and external business environment. And that means you may have to initiate change in order to manage these inevitable changes. In this show, John will discuss the Leadership and Organizational Change course with Dr. Maureen O. Vanterpool, along with alumni guests Noralynn Spiri and Scott Mawhinney.

This month's guest, Dee Daley, is a business leader with a 20-plus year record of leading organizational change initiatives for corporations including GE Healthcare, GE Capital and Office Depot. She recently presented on the topic of How to Deal With Difficult People at the Change Management 2015 Global Conference.
As change management professionals our success often depends upon our ability to influence without authority and to influence “difficult” people. Surprisingly, the research shows that 75 percent of the people with whom we interact at work and play are different from us in many ways such as how they make decisions, how they react when stressed and how they prefer to manage a project. It is these differences that frequently cause tension and strife. Listen in to hear what you can do about it!
Daryl Conner is a writer, consultant, and thought leader in the field of organizational change and strategy execution. Consultant, Lecturer in the Department of Organizational Science in he Columbian School of Arts and Sciences at George Washington University, and co-author of The Pivot Point: Success In Organizational Change, Victoria Grady describes how costly it really is for organizations to change successfully. Victoria Grady points out that over 70 percent of all organizational change initiatives fail, and that failure is often mistakenly blamed on employees for being resistant to change. Instead, the failure is due to what Victoria Grady calls a failure to pivot. That important pivot point is reached when employees abandon the old familiar ways of doing things, and embrace acting and performing in a new way. Since people are attached to people, places, events, or processes in the workplace, change leaders must understand both the people and organization. Since this is not always the case, change efforts fail. Victoria Grady shares ideas for improving the success of change initiatives, and for measuring and tracking how employees respond to specific actions in the process.

What is your identity inside yourself? What if how we have identified ourselves is taken away, like a job, a family or a persona that you have presented for decades? How can we change our thoughts to live a life that is what we may have seen in our dreams or we wished we could live? Do you understand how the brain works or do you just get up and move with the chatter in your head? Who is really in control? What is thriving in contrast to surviving? What part does depression play in a stuck life?

The Voice of Change welcomes Larry Kiser to discuss the importance of healing childhood emotions and traumas.
Often times as Adults we end up being run by emotional reactions to life circumstances and events and wonder afterwards why our reaction was so violent, so colored by anger or some other emotion. Very likely these reactions stem from family culture, childhood trauma, ancestral influence and past life conditions buried in the subconscious mind. Before we reach the age of 9 it is said we are already programed for the rest of our life unless we receive some assistance. The child’s mind has no filter. During this call Larry will address how these “programs” effect or life and do some clearing processes to “de-program" listeners so that moving forward in life can be easier and not run by unconscious patterns.
Larry Kiser has worked in the healing field for over 20 years. His practice is influenced by study and work with Russian scientists, an ex CIA operative, Mayan Elders, a Shaolin Master, the Emissaries of Divine Light, various Spiritual teachers, years of working with clients, and his own Spiritual Guides. His teaching and practice includes national and international work in the U.S., Canada, Germany, Latvia, Mexico and Hong Kong. As a former lawyer he taught classes in universities and lectured in various states.
