In this episode Anastasia picks up threads from the central story of the last program, “When Worlds Collide.” In the scenario recounted in that show, what might have become a head-on collision between Jewish and Christian ideologies was averted through artful strategies and the intention of the involved parties to lean in toward one another.
Rather than polarize, a potentially highly-charged interpersonal snag became an opportunity for personal and relationship growth and greater understanding.
Jack offers his reliably astute perspectives to the mix along with a few of his own stories that reflect challenges and struggles that can lead –or not – to the kinds of successes, deriving from applying the principles of the “The Lean In Legacy Template.”
Again the on-air portion of this show continues with a conference call forum discussion. Guests are welcome to join in at: 712.432.0600, access code 640883 (also recorded).
"The Synagogue in Christian Society: Part 2"
Since the days of Christ and the apostles, Church-vs-Synagogue relations have been anything but good. What started as a movement within Judaism became a separate movement all its own. The hostility was compounded by the Synagogue's reaction to what it called a heretical sect. The Church responded with over-reaction. The rancor increased over centuries, and as the Church became mainstream in formerly pagan society, the Old Testament "People of the Book" were increasingly marginalized and persecuted. In the midst of all this, and DESPITE it all, many Jews came to believe that Jesus of Nazareth was indeed the promised Messiah. This Thursday we look at it all more closely in the 2nd of a 5-part series. Tune in and take notes! Your host, Rev. Rick Anderson on "Jewish Roots", each Thursday at 9:30 pm EDT. Listen LIVE at www.blogtalkradio.com/fougcrew or through Twitter, LinkedIn, GooglePlus and facebook.com/fougcrew. To call with a comment or question: 347-324-5750.

In part 1 of the named broadcast, we touched on the various reasons why many who are in Christ find themselves venting unto God concerning their disappointments, frustration, and anger concerning the circumstances and events of life. Even though the word tells us that "all that live Godly, shall suffer persecution", sometimes those "promises" don't set well when they arrive. On this particular show we plan to address to road to recovery and healing! Join us as we all come before His presence through another round table discussion...and let us give it all to God!
