In the latest edition of the Encouragement Group, host David Gerber takes the famous 1980's US Olympic Hockey team phrase "Do You Believe in Miracles?" and applies it to the process of treatment and recovery. The journey of recovery is often a miraculous one. However, David discusses the "Ordinary Miracle" in that anyone has the power to attain this miracle. Michael Boccia chimes in with the concept of believing in Santa Claus as a component to being successful in recovery as we benefit from having childlike blind faith that recovery is possible. As always, miracles will be shared.

We return from our sports talk hiatus just before the annual Free Agent Frenzy in the NHL. We will be on the night before the start of the free agency signing period and we will look at local team rosters and what each of the five local teams need to address in free agency. Who has cap room and who will the big winners be in free agency? We will also predict where the big names will go. ***
Almost halfway through the season, we'll talk baseball and the latest stories, not only for local teams, but we will also go around the league. Both the Mets and Yankees have fallen out of first, the Phillies have a managerial change, and the Red Sox are the only team in the AL East outside of striking distance of the top spot. ***

Blueshirt Underground Radio was founded in June of 2009, and is now in its sixth year of being the only live radio broadcast devoted to the New York Rangers.
Hosted by lifelong Ranger fans Eddie "The Mouth" Gieck and Jim Schmiedeberg, Blueshirt Underground Radio is not some boring podcast that just drones on and on. It's a lively discussion of everything related to the Rangers, where nothing is off-limits. Rants about the players, announcers, and opponents are commonplace, and no one is off limits. It is a show that prides itself in dishing out tough love to the team it adores. Not only is the show funny and entertaining, it is also fully interactive. It's the only radio show you can call into any time of year and talk Ranger hockey.
We love taking calls, and we also chat with you in our live chatroom throughout the show. You can log into our chat using your Facebook account, or by registering on blogtalkradio.com.
