Saying NO can be the hardest two letter that you can ever utter, and the most empowering. Saying no to your loved ones, to your children, husband and family and friends is monumentally challenging. Saying no to your employer and work colleagues is challenging also, but from a different stand point, but challenging none the less. Saying no to people asking for charitable donations and no to the destitute, displaced and homeless asking for money, while standing on the corner with a hand written sign, has another set of challenges, all of which play havoc with your emotions. Saying no to certain things can be a no-brainer. No, you cannot have my left and right kidney! No! I’m not giving you your car keys; you might not be aware of this, but you’re drunk.
Within all of this, the irony here is, that the person you find it hardest to utter those two syllables to, and mean it, is yourself. Saying no can hurt you too, because you know that it’s not what the other person wants to hear and they're hurting. There is nothing that you can do about their hurt, other than to be truthful in who you are. By empowering you; you empower them.
Join me Dr. Wendy Dearborne choice expert and life coach and Olivia Lashley expressions coach and artist as we explore empowerment through saying no.

Radio continues to give a voice to thousands of children across the developing world
During 2015: Radio continues to be the most important tool to provide young people with information and give a voice to children across the developing world, many of whom live in remote or disaster-prone areas, says child rights organisation Plan International.
From early and forced marriage to child abuse, children across the world are using community radio and participatory radio initiatives to voice their opinion on a range of issues that affect their lives. They are also using the power of radio to advocate for their rights, support other young people and make themselves heard.
OLIVIA FRANCES is an old soul wrapped inside the effervescent free spirit of an 18-year-old girl. This talented singer-songwriter originally from Cincinnati, OH and now based in Nashville began her musical journey at a young age – her first performance was a duet with a friend during an elementary school talent show. Her pursuit of the spotlight was set in motion in 7th Grade when Olivia had her first solo at the school’s Winter Concert. It was a moment that remains vividly in her mind; as she stepped up to the microphone, away from the choir and sang her first solo, Olivia knew in that instant that being on stage was where she belonged.
She started studying music in earnest after that; with piano at age six and by the time she was 12, her love of guitar and songwriting came to the forefront. Olivia continues to hone her musical talents and took the step of moving to Nashville on her own after graduating high school. After joining the prestigious Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) at age 12, her move to Nashville enabled Olivia to become more active and attend more NSAI events. Her days are spent perfecting her music, while at the same time learning as much as she can about the music business as an intern with a record label. The valuable experience and connections she makes have allowed Olivia to play at such well-respected venues as The Commodore Grille and The Bluebird.
All in all, this is only the beginning for the vivacious young girl who grew up in Cincinnati with no musical influence in her family. Olivia’s mother is a writer and her father runs their family business. Their love and support have shaped Olivia into the hard working, always curious young woman she is today. Olivia is planning an exciting new project in 2015 and continues to pursue her dreams while writing and making music in the Music City.
This is a fact of life, which sometimes means, you have to implement with the ones that you love. Within a relationship, family, friends etc sometimes, distance works best. This should not be interpreted by you to mean that you won't and don't care. Putting space, even mental space, in between you and people, places and things can sometimes be the wisest course of action for maintaining your sanity and health...and the relationship!
Many people find this hard to do for a variety of reasons, however, I have found primarily, it’s because they feel guilty or a sense of duty that compels them to be up close and personal with whomever. Sometimes you need to love the ones that you love from a distance it’s as simply complex as that.
Join me Dr. Wendy Dearborne choice expert and life coach and Olivia Lashley expressions coach and artist as we talk about loving the ones that we love from a distance.

"Why can't I be rich? I hate having a cash flow problem" is something that many people have said in jest. Although in jest, the underlying spark that created the smoke screen was very, very, very real. The feeling of lack is real. If the law of attraction is right in I can have what I want. I can manifest what I believe and dream of. If the Universal Law is correct and all the other spiritual doctorines that are so casually bandied about, why do I have a constant cash flow problem?
Understand why you don't have the funds that you are wanting is easy, it's what to do about it that may present a challenge.
Join me Dr. Wendy Dearborne choice expert and life coach and Olivia Lashley expressions coach and artist as we look at what you can do about creating the wealth that you are wanting.
