Sauce the way your grandma made it! About a year ago, Matt Gallira founded The Atlantic Ave Co., an artisanal sauce company. All products share hand-crafted qualities: small batch sauces start with fresh herb-infused organic extra virgin olive oil, San Marzano tomatoes, Cabernet Sauvignon, and carefully sourced ingredients like hand-made Pancetta and imported Porcini mushrooms. After quitting his job as a financial services recruit in Boston, Matt came home to NJ to make sauce. “... I guess one day I got enough compliments from it that I thought maybe I could do this professionally.” He began by selling gift baskets and jars on Black Friday at the Garden State Plaza Mall. Matt says the problem with sauce in grocery stores is their industrial production. Companies mass produce sauce by passing very hot steam through the ingredients instead of cooking them. But the difficulties of giving artisanal care to large amounts of sauce are apparent. “At a certain point this sauce needs to slow cook for two and a half hours. That’s why no one makes it this way… it’s hard to scale up.” This is the 2nd of a 3-part series on food entrepreneurs. “What do you need to start a business? Three simple things: know your product better than anyone, know your customer, and have a burning desire to succeed,” said Dave Thomas, Founder of Wendy’s. An entrepreneur is someone who sees an opportunity, sizes up its value, and finds the resources to make it work. Entrepreneurs are typically innovators introducing something new to the marketplace, putting a different spin on a product – and willing to take a risk for their success. Find out from Matt what it took to launch his product. After the interview, check After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for more info.

Please join me Tuesday Aug 12th at 11 am CST as I share a teaching The Lord gave me in 2011- that I wrote down on my site www.withhiminheavenlyplaces.com under teachings. So here is one of those. I called this The Word Of The Lord Came To Me Saying, What Do You See.
Peoples eyes are being opened to the fact that God has given us eyes to see. We have spiritual eyes. And if you long for eyes to see - you can learn to see.
This is what The Lord said to Jeremiah-
The word of the LORD came to me saying, "What do you see, Jeremiah?" And I said, "I see a rod of an almond tree." (Jeremiah 1:11)
He asked Zecharaih
He said to me, "What do you see?" And I said, "I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold with its bowl on the top of it, and its seven lamps on it with seven spouts belonging to each of the lamps which are on the top of it; (Zechariah 4:2)
also two olive trees by it, one on the right side of the bowl and the other on its left side." (Zechariah 4:3)
John The Revelator saw in the spirit realm as well as Isaiah and many others Please join me as we talk about how God gave us the same eyes to see. ~ Char

This show courtesy of KDTN Blogtalk's Music in Review Radio Show --Was Johnny Cash's first wife black?
Johnny Cash's first wife, Vivian Liberto, is supposedly Italian on her father's side, but in pictures she appears to have some African origins, which must've been .
No she wasn't black. People from the Mediterranean region such as Italy, or Greece tend to be more dark skinned. If there were any African origins in her family heritage, it would have come to light many many years ago. Italians can go from fair skinned, with blue eyes, and blonde hair, to what is called olive skinned, brown eyes, and jet black hair. If there is any type of African heritage, it would more likely be of Arabic decent, than of black African decent. Which would be much further to the south, for that genetic trait. Many times those of Arabic decent are forgotten geographically as being a part of the African continent.
Ok I can see where you might get then idea of her heritage from. At the due to the hairstyles it was uncommon for a female of Italian decent to in that period to be mistaken sometimes, as part black, especially in a photograph. Also how makeup was APPLIED could, and still can give the appearance of another racial/ethnic background/heritage.
WHY HOMEMADE SOAP?
Homemade soap/handmade soap cleans gently to leave your skin soft and smooth. Our natural soap is different & better than body wash….here’s why:
Body wash and commercial bars are really not like homemade soap at all, they’re actually detergents.
Detergents work differently than soap: they strip dirt & soil from your skin (and healthy oils in the process) often leaving it feeling tight & dry.
Switching from body wash or liquid hand “soap” to natural homemade soap can make a noticeable difference in the look and feel of your skin!
Home made soap cleans gently without stripping healthy oils.
Due to its unique molecular structure, real soap homemade using the cold process, hot process, cold process/oven process methods, will actually remove dirt off your skin without stripping healthy oils. We work hard to blend up homemade recipes that will be increase the health of your skin with every use. Each one of our bath and body essentials are created entirely from scratch with olive, organic coconut. These oils result in a soap that is mild and long-lasting.
We occasionally “superfat” our soap with a blend of tropical butters to help condition your skin every time you wash. (Superfatting is the process of adding extra oils/butters which remain suspended within the finished soap.) That’s why homemade soap are idea for you and your family. Keep in mind what you use on your skin is the same concept as what you put in your body.

Dementia is a term that is used to describe a collection of symptoms including memory loss, problems with reasoning and communication skills, and a reduction in a persons abilities and skills in carrying out activities of daily living. There are a number of different types of dementia the most common being Alzheimers Disease, Vascular Dementia, Frontol Temporal Dementia and Dementia with Lewy bodies. A diagnosis of mixed dementia is when the presentation shows the person to have elements of more than one type of dementia. Dementia is a progressive condition. The symptoms become gradually worse, the rate of which varies from person to person and each person will experience dementia in a different way. The purpose of working with people who have dementia, is to improve the functions that the disability affects to the highest possible level. Once achieved, NLP is used to shift the focus and strengthen every other function and resource that the person is using to compensate for the areas that no longer work to their full capacity. Through using the techniques of NLP, we can improve the persons quality of life and provide them with more independence by removing any possible frustrations she or he is experiencing. Tune in to this segment of The NLP View Radio Show, as host, Donna Blinston talks to author and health coach, Olive Hickmott about how she uses NLP to help people who suffer from Dementia.
