Are Parents REALLY Concerned about what their Child is learning in School?

    in Religion

The FIGHT continues...I am understanding that this NEW generation (some of which) are not concerned with what is important to their child's ability to learn while they are in school. As many of you know that a few weeks ago our son was FORCED to learn about a Rapper named "Cheif Keith" and his personal life of having trouble with the LAW and Child Support among other things...NOW, some of the students have out launched ANGER in efforts to Promote "Cheif Keith" and they view him as a god....Will this cause a huge MAJOR lawsuit against the School Board or are the Parents at home speaking about this topic among the children, which angers the child enough to pick fights and arguments, this will land a child in Juvenile Hall...Well it is time to Chat!

Bill Lea's Bio is both impressive, and inspiring.

Today's Left of Str8 Show is LIVE after a two week break with three fantastic guests.  You can catch the Left of Str8 Show on Blog Talk Radio every Tuesday from 5-7pm EST / 2-4pm PST.  Your host, Scott Fullerton discusses issues that affect our LGBT Community and Allies, along with interviews from some fantastic guests from the world of Entertainment, Foodies, and Books.

My first guest today is Singer/Prodocer/Entertainer, Trevor Page.  Born in a small town in Florida, and now living his dreams creating and producing music in Southern California, Trevor has a new album out, "Oligarchy," and is here to talk about it, his life growing up in small town Florida as a biracial youth and discovering that he is part of the LGBT Community.  You can listen to his new music all over and follow him on social media and thru his website.

Jason Dottley is another hugely talented and multi-faceted entertainer who is an actor, singer, comedian, and producer, who has just wrapped a 40 city tour with his one-man comedy show, "Life On The gAy List," as well as just putting out a World Record Breaking Music Video.  Jason is sure to bring the funny, and the juicy, as well as talk about what it takes to be a top 25 Billboard Entertainer.

An Interview with Presidential Candidate Mr. John McAfee

    in Politics

According to Mr. McAfee, it is not the job of the President to resolve our differences or adjudicate our grievances. That is the unenviable job of Congress. The President’s job is to find a common ground upon which all Americans, excluding none, can stand. I am told that this is impossible, yet I can give you one clear example: we are all human, and share the commonalities of fear, love, anger, jealousy, hope and compassion. If we start there, we can begin a conversation, myself and the American public, and perhaps grow that commonality into a substantive base.

Mr. McAfeeis is running the first purely electronic Presidential campaign. I will hold “Fireside Chats”, over the Internet, through which you and I can communicate, as if I were sitting in your living room. I will not be coming to your city to shake your hand or kiss your babies, and for that I apologize, both to you and to your babies.

Listen in and call in with your questions and comments 646-652-4620.

Interview: Todd Willert - Head Coach & Nique Martin -WR (East Forsyth Football)

    in College & High School

Interview with Coach Wilert and Nique Martin of East Forsyth HS just ahead of the Semi Final Match up VS Charlotte Mallard Creek HS this Friday at 7:30pm

    By Kegan Lowe Winston-Salem Journal

KERNERSVILLE — It was billed as one of the most anticipated matchups in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County history — a NCHSAA 4-AA quarterfinal playoff game between two bitter rivals separated only by a short drive down Business 40.

The result was a one-sided affair that saw No. 1 East Forsyth continue its season-long dominance over the rest of the area and defeat No. 5 West Forsyth, 31-6, in front of a capacity crowd at Clarke-Peterson Field in Kernersville.

Just a day removed from Thanksgiving, East Forsyth Coach Todd Willert was still counting his blessings.

Willert registered his 100th career victory at the school with the win over West Forsyth Friday night.

“I am just so thankful for everyone in our program,” Willert said. “From trainers to coaches to administrators to my athletic director — we took over a program 13 years ago and everybody said we would never win at East Forsyth. And for the guys that have been here with me the whole time, this is the 100th victory and we were never supposed to win.”

Both offenses started slowly, with the Titans forced to punt on their first three possessions while gaining one first down.

The Eagles started only marginally better, getting a 22-yard field goal from sophomore Cameron Lischke on their second possession to end the first quarter with a 3-0 lead. East Forsyth is now just two victories away from a NCHSAA 4-AA state championship. The Eagles will host No. 6 Charlotte Mallard Creek next Friday night in the state semifinals   http://www.journalnow.com/sports/prepzone/football/east-forsyth-rolls-in-willert-s-th-win/article_846d70c0-4de5-59d9-a269-c2f66839e157.html
