Joe Blanton was the big piece of news on this week's podcast, which means we were reliant on questions from listeners to cover a large portion of the broadcast.
It also gave me time to outline the rules for old friend status, among other questions, and we briefly discussed the Dodgers settling with all of their salary arbitration-eligible players. Also, if you listen hard enough you can hear the palpable disappointment in Jacob's voice as I reveal that I have not seen a single minute nor read a single page ofGame of Thrones.

So now we come to our final episode on Urantia Paper 196, The Faith of Jesus.
We've had such a great time reviewing this paper with old friends and Urantia Book scholars. It may have taken 5 weeks to get through it, but it's so rich, it deserves to be savored. So we hope you'll join us again, for the last bite of this sumptuous spiritual feast.
In the last few weeks we've read and discussed his exquisite faith, pondering teachings like this, "The faith of Jesus attained the purity of a child's trust. His faith was so absolute and undoubting that it responded to the charm of the contact of fellow beings and to the wonders of the universe. His sense of dependence on the divine was so complete and so confident that it yielded the joy and the assurance of absolute personal security."
We've explored his nearness to us, his humility and approachability: "The common people heard Jesus gladly, and they will again respond to the presentation of his sincere human life of consecrated religious motivation if such truths shall again be proclaimed to the world. The people heard him gladly because he was one of them, an unpretentious layman; the world's greatest religious teacher was indeed a layman."
We've marveled at his personal religious devotion and service: "He taught men to place a high value upon themselves in time and in eternity. Because of this high estimate which Jesus placed upon men, he was willing to spend himself in the unremitting service of humankind. And it was this infinite worth of the finite that made the golden rule a vital factor in his religion. What mortal can fail to be uplifted by the extraordinary faith Jesus has in him?"
This week offers us one more dance with the Universe: "Man's forward spiritual urge is not a psychic illusion. All of man's universe romancing may not be fact, but much, very much, is truth."

An ex-boyfriend, contacted me via social media the other day. He was giving the small talk vibe. He then went into this whole speech, "I miss you, Lisa." "Remember that time?" and on and on. I was polite during the chat. But my only thought was fuck off.
What are the best ways to handle this situation? Listen to me talk through it.
On this episode we bring you Yolonda and Jeri. These two southern born and bred ladies remember how church was back in the day and want to tell you all about it. They come from a time when church was actually a force in the community, when the doors of the church were always open to those in need and the pastor was never too busy to give you a few minutes of his time.
Tune in to hear their experiences and how that compares to the church we see today. Which is better? What should we bring back from the old church, and what should we leave behind? This show is guaranteed to be entertaining. Got an opinion? The chat room will be open or dial in via phone.
It's time to get serious about eternal life in Jesus. No more cosmic values, or cosmic attitudes. The things of this world have no place in the lives of believing ones. If we are truly being transformed from glory, to glory then we are becoming more like Jesus. This process of Christlikeness is to be our greatest desire. It must become our singular purpose. When Jesus was here during his public ministry he never lost focus of his mission. He was tempted by the enemy to abandon the will of God, but he did not. Many of the saints today are still wearing the grave clothes of the old life because they will not give up the destructive idolatries of the past.

We seek to find those that are affected with sin and additions’ to show them the way to the cross. Then lead them back home to the God that loves them. Taking all under our wing to shelter them from the devil. While dispelling them to teach others to find the affected. So that the world come back to God that is waiting with open arms for us to come home. We are gay positive. Prayer line number below. Additions help as well same number. We are pride friendly.
I am 19 years old and live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I am full honors graduate of Norwin High School, graduating in the Top 10% of my class with a 4.0. For three years during high school, I studied Opera at Duquesne University’s City Music Center, and have been playing the piano for twelve years. I’m an opera singer, piano player, and professional model. I have had national modeling covers with Jo-Ann Fabrics, Fisher Price, Philip Pelusi, and have walked in fashion shows for Fleet Feet and Macy’s prom.
I currently attend the University of Pittsburgh for a degree in Business, and will hopefully then go on to get my Masters in Opera Performance. My ambition is to one day open a music conservatory for kids who want to learn to play an instrument, sing, or just learn more about music in general. Music was such a big part of my childhood, and I want to be able to give every child the same opportunity to fall in love with music, as I have.
In August of 2014, I won the title of 2014 National American Miss Pennsylvania Teen, and at Nationals placed 4th runner-up in Talent for singing opera, and placed 1st runner-up in the overall pageant. I then received the title of 2015 International Junior Miss Pennsylvania Teen and was lucky enough to become the 2015 International Junior Miss International Teen, as well as the IJM 2015 Teen Titleholder for Talent
