Take Me Back to the Old Landmark is a tribute to the the old style Call and Response African American spirituals. A number of these spirituals are affectionately labeled within the African-American Church as Old Dr. Watts hymns. Old Dr. Watts hymns are sung in a slow, ornamental style, with each line being lined out by a leader before it is sung by the congregation. Old Dr. Watts refers to Isaac Watts, an early 19th century English composer. Although these type hymns are fading from use in modern church services, Old Dr. Watts hymns enjoy a special place in the hearts of the African-American church. Mourners Bench Records through its upcoming release Take Me Back to the Old Landmark hopes to preserve this part of the African-American heritage for future generations.

Donna Mebane author of Tomorrow Comes on How to balance mourning and living

    in Lifestyle

Any moment we can be painfully reminded that none of us is immune from loss.

Perhaps the worst nightmare of any parent is the loss of a child.  Thankfully this happens to a comparative few parents, but all parents feel for them, and quietly wonder how we could ever deal with it. Donna Mebane(Mebbin) found a passion for writing through her battle with the loss of her daughter.

Based on a true story of love and family, grief and joy, Tomorrow Comes (Starshine Galaxy, 2014) is inspired by the sudden and unexpected death of author Donna Mebane’s own daughter, Emma. Donna breathes vitality and warmth into Emma’s character, and you’ll find yourself rooting for Emma as she learns to navigate her new world with courage, humor, and an indomitable spirit.

Tomorrow Comes is a daring coming-of-age book – the first in a new series – in which an ordinary teenager must come to terms with her own mortality, the loss of all she once knew, and an other-worldly set of rules. The results are dark and uplifting, heart-breaking and humorous, poignant and poetic.

Donna Mebane grew up wanting to be two things: a mother and a writer. She became a mom after the birth of her first child, Jason. She became a writer after the death of her youngest child, Emma She calls Tomorrow Comes a work of “reality fiction” because it captures the reality of grief that family and friends endured after Emma died at the same time that it creates an enchanting fictional world of AFTER where Emma can continue to be herself.

    321 Figured It Out

    in Marketing

Throughout my adult working life, I've had jobs where I had to think and perform outside the box.

At 53 years old, it is still a top priority to stay just as RELEVANT as I was at 23 years old. It's always been my mindset that the best ideas are still out there regardless if it seems technology has figured it out.

    Here we are, in 2015.

Social media has influenced the way business owners think about advertising. It became trendy to post products, services and business profiles to popular social media websites with the hope sales would be made.

What we discovered using mostly anecdotal evidence is social media sites are popular for two sets of users concerned with revenue and employment:

Businesses advertising products and services to other businesses.
Individuals and businesses seeking employment and candidates.

Not getting into too much detail, we at 321SetAppointments.com (321) have concluded that potential customers, who are not businesses advertising products and services to other businesses, is still, an untapped, social media market. Popular websites which collect and distribute real estate, mortgage and insurance leads have been very effective in delivering platforms to connect producers and prospects.

But there is still a frontier to conquer!

What if there were a way to connect with consumers BEFORE they reached popular, fee-based website portals where consumer data is collected and distributed to producers?

Autistic Boy Receives Blood Stem Cell Infusion And Recovers

    in Health

My guest, MARTY KELLEY, will discussion what worked for her child in recovering him from the label Autism.  Kenneth Kelley was diagnosed with autism at 2 years old. At 5 1/2 years old, his parents, Donald and Marty Kelley, started biomedical intervention with Kenneth, consisting of the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, mb12 injections, and glutathione. They also bought a mild hyperbaric oxygen chamber and started treating him at home for 3 hours each day, totalling 90 hours each month. At age 8, Kenneth had an umbilical cord blood stem cell infusion (this is not embryonic stem cells). Kenneth started reading about 6-9 months after the first treatment and became potty trained as well.  Since that time, Kenneth has had a total of 5 adult stem cell treatments. He is now 13, and his IQ has gone up and he does not have any more Autistic symptoms. He is a little delayed, but his parents feel he is catching up rapidly.  You can preview a clip of their story at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyU4m2ZF-pA&app=desktop.  Please join us live on the 26th at 12:00 P.M. CST.  We will be taking questions from callers.
