The truth of the matter there is no such thing as good or bad luck, there is purpose in and for your life, it rains on the just and unjust alike. Here we have Job a perfect man, no one like him in the land and yet, God allowed Satan to wage a horriable war aginst him,Job survied, and so can we.

THE DARKNESS COMES,THE STARS DO SHINE,AND YET WE LONG FOR DAWN,AND THE BRIGHT SUNSHINE.
Without question, 2016 has kicked off on a decidedly dark note.
Above and beyond a ridiculous circus of a Presidential election, a record breaking wave of snowstorms in the East and tornadoes down South, increasing corporate and financial malfeasance both nationally and globally and some ongoing global concerns, we've lost large chunks of music, television and film history in the surprisingly short span of a single month.
So join us as we pay tribute to names like David Bowie, the Jefferson Airplane's Paul Kantner and Signe Anderson, Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister of Motorhead and Hawkwind and Jimmy Bain of Dio and Rainbow, not to mention folks like Glenn Frey of the Eagles, Dallas Taylor of Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Dale Griffin of Mott the Hoople, Nicholas Caldwell of the Whispers, Mic Gillette of Tower of Power and Stones/Yardbirds manager Giorgio Gomelsky on the music end,
and Angus Scrimm (Phantasm), Dan Haggerty (Grizzly Adams), Vilmos Zsigmond (of the Ray Dennis Steckler and Arch Hall films, Easy Rider and Close Encounters), Abe "Fish" Vigoda, Frank Finlay, Terry Wogan, Jacques Rivette and Pat "Schneider" Harrington on the television and film end...

Welcome our February conversation on Design for Health and Wellbeing with Amy Cueva, Co-Founder, Mad*Pow.
How does design in technology affect how consumers, caregivers, and health advocates help us improve public health and personal health and wellbeing? This is a key topic in healthcare today as we aim to reduce costs, increase access and improve the quality of healthcare. You’ll want to hear just how the “softer side” of technology is heading, with emphasis on empathy and empowerment.
If your personal or professional mission includes transforming the healthcare system through improved engagement, empowerment, empathy and efficiency, I invite you to join me with Amy Cueva, Founder, Chief Experience Officer.
Just listen here on February 11th and also find out about a great conference in Boston, April 5-6th called HxRefractored, sponsored by Mad*Pow and Health 2.0.
Join the movement for better health and wellbeing with innovations from design technology.
That’s Feb 11th at 1:30 pm or listen/download with this link!
Today’s program pays tribute to African Americans who have blazed trails for freedom, in military service and through global ministry outreach. Their selflessness and vision prove once again that Black History IS American History both now and in our past.
Ellen Craft launch one of the most outrageous and courageous escapes in history. Very fair skinned, she dressed up like a White man with her slave husband, who acted as her darker skinned valet and traveling companion, to achieve one of the most daring slavery escapes of the 1800s.

And an international field study trip to Chennai, India turned into a God-inspired opportunity for Rev. Karla Cooper during her 2003 graduate years in seminary. That fateful trip has yielded more than 125 Indian churches, now fully a part of the connectional African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Craft, Wiltz and Cooper, three role models who have helped make America become the multicultural mosaic that makes us so unique.

Campaign Cruz is calling out Fox News! I’ll tell you why that is such a brilliant political move, and why the other news channels have missed what Sen Ted Cruz is doing. And I’ll tell you how Carly Fiorina blew a golden, once-in-a-political-lifetime opportunity to be a relevant presidential candidate
Jimmy LaSalvia, author of No Hope, Why I Left the GOP and Why You Should Too, names names about high-profile Republicans who have intense gay feelings - including a famous conservative woman with a bulging Adam’s apple who LaSalvia actually names during the interview, and calls her a … well, … er, … um, … fag-hag (his term, NOT MINE!)

The Blackhawks lost to the San Jose Sharks 2-0 last night, and again were on the wrong side of a controverial ruling after a coach's challenge. The Hawks top line still has issues, should GM Stan Bowman make a trade to bring back a familiar face? Phil Jackson fired Derek Fisher on Monday, and Kurt Rambis took over as the Knicks' interim head coach. What should Phil's next move be, and will it even be in New York? Plus, the Bulls return home with a 2-5 road trip record and more injuries. Is it time for Gar Forman and John Paxson to finally admit defeat and make big moves before the trade deadline next week? Call in at 347.327.9183! BECAUSE CHICAGO LOVES SPORTS.
NBA Trade rumors are all around us and this is the what us hoop heads LOVE. Knick make a move to get Fisher OUT and now what? Are the Hawks going to hit the button and blow it up? Bulls losing Jimmy Butler for 3-4 weeks should the Bulls be looking to add a player? And the Monstars aka Golden State keeps trucking anyone and everyone. What did we learn from the OKC Thunder matchup are they the ONE to beat Dub Nation? These are just a taste of the topics on tap tonight!
