Robert Adanto's Pearls on the Ocean Floor (2010) is a thought-provoking, feature-length documentary examining the lives and works of Iranian female artists living and working in and outside the Islamic Republic. This unflinching and incisive study, featuring interviews with art luminaries Shadi Ghadirian, Shirin Neshat, Parastou Forouhar and others, capturing the uncertainty of this momentous time in Iran's history. Speaking with grace and honesty, these brave women express what is seldom seen in the western media: unique individual perspectives regarding issues of identity, gender, and the role that art plays in challenging the traditional stereotypes often associated with women in Iran.

This week a clarion call to awaken and join the dance of life, celebrating the magnificence of our journey with Almine. We will be playing 16 minutes of Almine drumming, which concluded the final hour of the earthchants ceremony in 2012.
This is copied from the instructions given with the ceremony:
'Allow the final hour of drums to break up all stagnant
patterns in your body. Movement is encouraged,
alternating with passive periods, in which you just allow
the drums to remove the stuck patterns within the body
and its fields'.
Bringing the next generation of tomorrows NFL stars to you today on the College2Pro.com Players Platform Show. Join host Bo Marchionte with special guest Rodney Nichols of Benedictine.
After a strong senior season, Benedictine University defensive back Rodney Nichols has been selected for the fifth annual National Bowl, a post-season all-star game consisting of student-athletes from Division II, Division III, and NAIA schools. The game will take place at 9:00 a.m. central time on Sunday, December 7 (10:00 a.m. eastern) at Ocean Bank Field in Miami, Florida on the campus of Florida International University.
A two-year starter at cornerback, Nichols was a key member of a BenU defense that led the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference in pass defense (147.1 yards per game) this season. An All-NACC Second Team selection, the South Carolina native tallied 47 tackles, four tackles for loss, a forced fumble, five pass breakups, and four interceptions. Three of the four interceptions came in consecutive games, with one of those being returned 54 yards for a touchdown against Concordia University Wisconsin. In his two-year BenU career, Nichols intercepted seven passes and tallied 15 pass deflections. On top of this year's All-NACC honor, Nichols was named All-Sportsmanship by the conference last season.

Ask yourself these questions to create a workout tailored to your needs and preferences.
Fitness programs abound, from yoga and Pilates to step aerobics and strength training — either at home or in a gym. So which type of fitness program is right for you? Ask yourself these questions to figure it out.
What is your current fitness level?
You probably have some idea of how fit you are. But assessing and recording baseline fitness scores can help you set your fitness goals and measure your progress. To assess your aerobic and muscular fitness, flexibility, and body composition, consider recording:
Your pulse rate before and immediately after walking 1 mile (1.6 kilometers)
How long it takes to walk 1 mile
How many pushups you can do at a time
How far you can reach forward while seated on the floor with your legs in front of you
Your waist circumference at the level of your hipbones
Your body mass index
Do you have any health issues?
If you are age 50 or older, haven't exercised for some time, or have chronic medical conditions, such as diabetes or heart disease, it's a good idea to to consult your doctor before beginning an exercise program.
It's also good to keep in mind that as you age, impaired balance, decreased elasticity of tendons and other factors can limit your exercise capacity. Injuries also are more frequent, and recovery takes longer. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't exercise or that you won't benefit from it. Just be sure to seek input from your doctor or an exercise therapist about how to create a program that's appropriate for you.

Wendy J. Vitalich OCEAN BLESSINGS: http://www.oceanblessings.com/
A few years ago I started taking walks to the ocean, mostly to clear my head and feel centered when my life was on shakey ground. I realized that the ocean and its beauty was very healing for me and I became very motivated and inspired to go to the ocean for my blessings as much as possible. I began to take photos of the amazing ocean and it's waves and all the birds that gathered for their blessings. I showed a few of my friends my photos and pretty soon I was asked to keep sharing them as they brought joy and healing to others. Ocean Blessings came to me effortlessly and the vision I caught has pulled me to create this book of 50 of my inspirational quotes along with photos of the ocean and sunsets. In wanting to share the healing power of the ocean, I also created 2015 wall and desk calendars along with greeting cards so people can bring it home with them.

The ships crew reported a visual sighting off of port bow of a brightly glowing reddish orange elliptical object, approximately 70 feet in diameter emerging out of the ocean and then shooting off straight up into space. The ships radar operator confirmed the visual sighting tracking the object to a speed in excess of 7,000 MPH. Further information http://thewebmatrix.net/disclosure/ -
