Black History who is a Hero / Shero

    in Politics Progressive

Who do you admire in the history African Women and Man of Earth?

I dont know much about Black History so for me this information instills pride in a people.

Descendants of former African enslaved people needs to know that history to restore that pride. With pride come respect and honor. When you don’t know who you are and where you come will leave you open to except distorted facts about who you are. It is important you know where you can from so you know where you are going.

Seeking more knowledge reduces the amount of self-hatred within the people the share my features. Stacey Dash recently let black folks know she is with white folks in destroying who she is mainly coz they are paying her.

For the month of February, in order to bring back True Black Power / True Africa Pride for the Month of February my show will be devoted to Nationhood and our Elders that pushed this message from Marcus Gravy.  We must refine the message for today and still push for Nationhood today!

Interview with Rising Indie Artist Nichelle Colvin Hosted By Qween$Ching

    in Indie Music

Nichelle Colvin, born and raised in Gary, Indiana. She wrote her first 3 songs, which became Billboard award winning songs as a sophomore in college. "Hold On", "Yaweh" and "What turns you on" Her first album project "Circular Soul" was a midwest compilation album of artist in which she wrote a song "Picture That" which would later become on the the songs added to her first album Project "Relations 1". Not only did this album sell out, but it also got her, her first licensing deal in the UK with a label called "Street Cultrue Records". This would not be Nichelle's only deal in the UK, which is where her biggest fan base seems to be. Her Sophomore Project, "Millenaire", which is still available on i-tunes as well as the internet and some stores got her another deal with a label called, "Cafedesoul Records". Cafedesoul decided to take a few songs from her first and second album and call it "Language of Love" which is also available on the web. This brings us up to the present.  this singer/songwriter is working on her 4th Album called "Soulfully Yours, Nichelle"

Nichelle has sung on numerous projects. One in particular , "A Call to Courage," received national recognition when Darron McKinney (soprano saxophone) and Nichelle Colvin performed the composition at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Candlelight Vigil held in Washington, DC May of 2001. There, the two artists mesmerized 18,000 law enforcement officers and the families and friends of America's fallen law officers. Former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft and Sen. Trent Lott were among the attending.

Season 2 Week 6 Madden 16, Chasing the top"

    in Sports

As the season continues, and as teams start to find their niche, it will be more apparent how important each week is, and that too not look ahead of ourselves. The Packers are the #1 team right now, but the Panthers and Falcons are right there on his heels, and the 4x champ Rams is still the best team in the league until someone else prooves different. There are a lot of teams who have a shot this year, nobody is dominant, and nobody can be taken lightly, every game is important. Who's going to seperate themselves, and who will kick it in another gear as the season progress. Be focus, stay the course, and never give up.

    Let's Talk Too! Author Yani

    in Books

    I'm your host

    Author Sharnel

     Guest

    Author Yani,

She wrote her first novel when she was fifteen years old while attending University City High-School. What started out as just a short story to help her cope with the accidental and devastating murder of a friend, turned into a full length, 893 handwritten paged novel after being encouraged to continue writing more by her peers. Years later, A Thug’s Redemption along with its two sequels, became Amazon Best Sellers and featured in Yo! Raps Magazine. Yani had previously been known for her writing through her edgy poetry, which granted her an invitation to the Tri-State’s number 1 Hip-Hop and R&B radio station, Power 99FM, to recite her popular poem “Why Tyrone Can’t Read” in 2001. Since then, Yani has attended open mic nights, reciting her poetry throughout Philadelphia. Yani has been featured on numerous blogs and has made guest appearances on various blog-talk radio shows. She was also a featured author at the 2013 National Black Book Festival in Houston, Texas. Yani still resides in Philadelphia with her three children and is working on her sixth novel.

    Drawing the Line. Qualifyin'

    in Current Events

Nommo Userkaf introduces his third show for the Protect and Defend Network by once again drawing the line on the cowardice of the Black Man.

If he is not supporting the struggle, we must withdraw our support from him.

It is an often quoted statistic that the Black Race controls over $1 Trillion dollars per year (that's 1000 billions or 1 million millions!). Yet, we own virtually no local community businesses.  Black Women and Girls are being kidnapped by the 1000s each year. Black Women and Children get shot down all across the country every day.  And some Black Men actually think they can ignore the obvious and public destruction of Our Beloved Black Race and still count on us to continue to laugh at their jokes, watch their movies and listen to their music?!? GTFOH!

It is very simple. "If you don't support us, we won't support you."

Join Nommo Userkaf as he explains why we must qualify the people that we support. And how we are not only wasting our time but participating in our own destruction by supporting those who do not actively support the Protection and Defense of the Black Woman and Child.
