Constitution Corner: Overriding vetoes; Rand Paul emphatically demonstrates that he is, after all, his father's son; Senate GOP backing plan to extend ObamaCare subsidies...in exchange for gutting ObamaCare itself; Of course: Unions seek exemption from Louisiana minimum wage hike they shoved down Louisiana business's throats; Barack Obama nationalizes water, or "Our puddles belong to him"; Yet another Greek bailout is imminent, which illustrates, metaphorically and literally, why the term "Greek" is a salacious double entendre; Another "negative GDP" quarter, another set of the same old Obama excuses; Terrorist Cuba off State's terror list, North Korean cyberwarriors, and Red China annexes the South China Sea; Leftist dhimmis redefine free speech and the First Amendment as "terrorism"; The inherent nature of bipartisan free trade agreements, and whether what we gain in economic growth is worth the price of what the libs insert into the fine print.
And, in the third hour of the Saturday Afternoon Extravaganza (4PM Eastern/1PM Pacific) on Constitution Radio with Douglas V. Gibbs on KMET 1490 AM:
If a federal appellate court upholds a lower federal court injunction against an illegal, unconstitutional Executive amnesty order that the president continues to ignore, does it make a sound?; House Republicans grovel before Loretta Lynch over Lois Lerner, like they did Eric Holder before her; The "Is Obama incompetent or malevolent?" question rearises over live anthrax shipments and IRS hacking; Do we have equality before the law or don't we? Not if the Black Klan gets its way; and how the Left and the Right commemorate Memorial Day.

Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes USAT best-selling author Jennifer Bernard. Jennifer is the author of the HOT FIREMAN series and the new sexy contemporary romance book ALL OF ME. Jennifer says this: "It took me a while to find my true love, both personally and professionally. I grew up in a crazy, chaotic family of six. My father was a professor, my mother a poet, and neither could understand my love for romance novels. I started reading early, inhaling Nora Roberts, Victoria Holt, Georgette Heyer, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, along with Shakespeare and Anais Nin thrown in for variety. I graduated from Harvard University with a degree in History and Literature. I wanted to major in Creative Writing, but those students were supercool and I confess I was a geek. I knew I had to write. After college I worked for Macmillan Publishing in New York, where I wrote copy for yearly encyclopedia updates. Yes, it was writing, but I wanted to try something different. The something different turned out to be living on a fishing island in Maine. To fill the long winter nights, I began writing screenplays with my college roommate. And so my quirky career began." http://jenniferbernard.net. THIS IS A LIVE INTERVIEW - CALL 347-633-9609 TO JOIN US.

The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals slapped down Obama’s illegal amnesty fiat this week maintaining the stay on applications. His reaction was to double the efforts and register MORE illegals. This is more evidence for naysayers who think him stopping 2016 elections couldn’t happen. Flood waters are raging right now in Texas and Oklahoma. So much for the drought. Now the reservoirs are filling back up and the dams are doing their job in spite of the lives lost. We prayed for rain…now we have it. At the same time Baltimore resident are losing their lives due to less policing going on. And finally we have one more reason to hate soccer; FIFA is proving to be crooked as a dog’s hind leg.
We looked back at some of my American Thinker posts from the past week..........where is the diversity in the Democrat party: is any Democrat challenging liberalism?........pre-election violence in Mexico......problems with Obama Care deductibles.......media bias and perceptions that the media is pro-Obama and now pro-Clinton.......US-Cuba talks look a like a one way street favoring Cuba......the US economy takes another step backward.......

"Resettling Syrians in Detroit would require commitment and cooperation across different branches and levels of our government, but it is eminently feasible. President Obama and Congress would have to agree to lift this year’s refugee ceiling by 50,000." (GAG.. And apparently SOMALIS are welcome, too!)

"Mass islamity ~ Stop the Insanity
Barack Obama is suspending the law designed to deter illegal immigration; “Stop blocking amnesty and increased immigration, you troglodyte Rethuglikans!” - like we could; plus a spring - or marathon - through the Political Pistachio headlines, and, time permitting, why Rand Paul’s NSA metadata concerns are misplaced, and why shootings in Baltimore are way, way up.
