Word of Mom Radio ~ sharing the wisdom of women.
Rev. Linda V. Boyd will be the special guest rejoining Life Coach Ade for "Self-Care for CareGivers".
As we close out our theme of the month “Fall In Love,” Rev. Boyd and Life Coach Ade will be shining the spotlight on the "Response-Ability" of Caregivers to be an illumining example of self-care and self-love.
Every caregiver is invited to know and live the spiritual truth that charity begins at home. When you start from this point in consciousness, the healing and balancing happens through you. Both the giver and receiver of the care are raised to a higher vibration.
If you find yourself giving more and replenishing less then make sure you join Rev. Linda Boyd and Life Coach Ade for a healing conversation.
Rev. Linda V. Boyd, ARMT affectionately known as Mama La, has worked as a Health Educator for the States of New York and Georgia in institutions as; Brooklyn Developmental Center, Morehouse School of Medicine, DeKalb County Health Department, Georgia Mental Health Institute, and MAXIMUS. World Alzheimer's Month unites opinion leaders, people with dementia, their carers and family, medical professionals, researchers and the media from all around the world.
Having a globally coordinated awareness Month and Day sends a strong message to governments and policy makers alerting them of the fact that dementia is a serious health issue which will have serious implications on services and health systems around the world as the world's population grows older. In addition, by focusing on a different message each year, the month can be used to educate and challenge people's misconceptions about dementia.
In observance of World Alzheimer's month I have invited author, Karen Tyrell to talk about the importance of brain health, understanding the warning signs and her book, Cracking The Dementia Code - Creative Solutions to Cope with Changed Behaviours.

Here at Because Hope Matters Radio, we often talk about the integral part nurses play in helping patients heal and connecting with their caregivers. CURE Magazine takes the time to recognize exemplary oncology nurses through an "Extraordinary Healer Award." The annual recognition attracts hundreds of essay submissions from patients, survivors, and caregivers across the nation.
We're thrilled to provide another spotlight for CURE's recent award winner, Cindi Cantril. Essayist, Ann Tallman, wrote about her journey as a breast cancer survivor. Her portrayal of Cantril's care through diagnosis, surgery and treatment caught the attention of Kathy LaTour, editor-at-large at CURE Magazine. The giving, nurturing, and inspiring nature embedded in Cantril's fiber goes above and beyond. She created peer-to-peer support for patients; the "WINGS" Program helps women with all types of cancer, and a secondary WINGMEN group helps men. Cantril's drive to provide healing programs doesn't stop there; she also operates women's cancer retreats and Equine therapy.
Among more than 750 of her peers and guest speaker, actor, producer, director and best-selling author Rob Lowe, and the cancer care community, Cantril received the distinguished award. She has provided more than 40 years of research, clinical care, program development and leadership in oncology nursing care. She has published over a dozen articles and authored several chapters of Building Legacy - Voices of Oncology Nurses. Cantril also received the Oncology Nursing Society's Distinguished Service Award in 2010, among other honors on her career path.
Join us for our quarterly feature with Kathy LaTour, as we delve into the heart of oncology nursing and go above and beyond an ordinary care-watch.
In this episode I will outline the overview for the components of my BH Sales Group Purchasing Plans and BH Sales 50/25 Program. I will detail how my programs are customizable and when initiated and utilized within the structured format have saved my clients hundreds of dollars.
These programs when combined with my BH Sales Customer Rewards and Incentives Plans and Auto Ship Plans allow my clients to more easily account and calculate for their animals feed requirements, and establish a workable budget to maintain happy healthy pets.
