One of the most quoted chapters in the bible regarding calling out a sinner is James 5, and we'd like to discuss that along with 1 Corinthians 8 about eating meat sacrificed to idols. How are the two related, join us and see. Join Host, David Hogan and Special Guest, Pastor Lawton Higgs, Jr. of Oakmont United Methodist Church, as we discuss Christians, calling out sinners, is that cool or not so much?
In the 1990s, Jordan Belfort built one of the most dynamic and successful sales organizations in Wall Street history. During that time, he soared to the highest financial heights, earning over $50 million a year, a feat that coined him the name “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
As the owner of Stratton Oakmont, Belfort employed over 1,000 stockbrokers and raised over $1.5 billion and started more than 30 million-dollar-companies from scratch.
He’s acted as a consultant to more than fifty public companies, and has been written about in virtually every major newspaper and magazine in the world, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, The London Times, The Herald Tribune, Le Monde, Corriere della Serra, Forbes, Business Week, Paris Match and Rolling Stone.
Along the way, he succumbed to some of the traps of the high-flying Wall Street lifestyle, going through a spectacular—and well-publicized—fall from grace. Taking invaluable lessons from the mistakes
Tonight we will be joined by Patrick McDonnell who worked under Jordan Belfort aka The Wolf of Wall Street.
Patrick "P.K." McDonnell trained to become a registered stockbroker at Stratton Oakmont, Inc. He was employed by the firm from early November 1992 through March 2005. He passed both his Series 7 & Series 63 exams while working at Stratton. He served a total of 6 years in both Federal & State prison for Wall Street related crimes.
Reformed and remorseful, Patrick "P.K." McDonnell is an aspiring author, Bitcoin Banker, and consultant living in the suburban New York area. He is happily married to Law, his wife of over 20 years. He has two children, both boys, ages 19 & 21.
Patrick "P.K." McDonnell is the author of A Trail Of Fraud... Stratton Oakmont The Book.
