    Two Lesbian Episcopal Clergy Marry

    in Religion

Same-sex marriage is a phrase that conjures quite a bit of contention.  The contentions are subject to arise in any organization whether it is a family, workplace, the military or church.  The Episcopal Church it seems has sided with same-sex marriage by allowing the marriage of two of their lesbian clergy members.  Of course, this marriage has brought on contention.  But why does the contention occur?  Is there really something wrong with same-sex marriage?  If there were something wrong with same-sex marriage don’t you think members of the clergy would know that?

It is still 3 minutes to Midnight-Why?

    in Religion

"And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." (Matthew 24:22 KJV)

"Last year, we wrote that world leaders had failed to act with the speed or on the scale required to protect citizens from the danger posed by climate change and nuclear war, and that those failures endangered every person on Earth. In keeping the hands of the Doomsday Clock at three minutes to midnight, the members of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists Science and Security Board mean to make a clear statement: The world situation remains highly threatening to humanity, and decisive action to reduce the danger posed by nuclear weapons and climate change is urgently required." ("It is still 3 minutes to midnight" by the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, pg. 2)

"In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand." (Job 34:20 KJV)

"Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left." (Isaiah 24:6 KJV)

"Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it. For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter." (Isaiah 34:1-2 KJV)

Are we living in the end times? How can we prepare for WWIII? What does the Bible say about it? This program will answer these questions.
