PLEASE NOTE: THERE WAS A TECHNICAL ISSUE< BUT WE FIXED AND CONTINUED THE SHOW> PLEASE LISTEN TO ENTIRE SHOW...THANKS: It's time to look at the fun side of relationships! Humor is the best medicine for building stronger relationships, but you need to know the limits. Hopkins and I want to share how you can have healthy interactions with others by learning to "lighten up"! We need to stop taking ourselves so seriously and find the right balance in using humor in our daily lives. Look at the silly side of things and you won't find yourself involved in such stressful interactions. How do you handle conflict? What do you do in order to deflect a stressful interaction? We want to share the simplicity of using humor to diffuse difficult situations and to enhance healthy moments in life! We want to hear from you as you share those moments that turned out to be "funny" and even "embarassing"! Learn to laugh at yourself and bring joy to those around you. The first caller gets a free 1 hour consultation, Starbucks and whatever else we can think of! We want to hear from you! Use humor and disguise your voice and use a funny name! We don't care, we just want to have fun sharing how you can make your life amazing!

According to the, American Association of Colleges of Nurses, employment for Nurses will increase significantly over the next few years in comparison to most occupations.
Nursing is the nation's largest health care profession, totaling over 3.1 million RN's across the US. Regardless of the fields current status, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that employment for RN's will grow faster than many other jobs through 2018.
Being a Nurse is a very rewarding profession that offers various job placement opportunities, but it takes hard work and perseverance. In 2011, a national study revealed that the acceptance rate for nursing schools across the country was approximately 39.5%. So to make sure you are included in that percentage, we are speaking with Dr. Kathleen Potempa, Dean and Professor at the University of Michigan School of Nursing, for her expert advice to help the next generation of students seeking a career as a Nurse. Dr. Potempa has extensive experience within the medical profession including:
32 years’ experience as a scientist, educator, and administrator.
Several notable awards such as the Oregon Medical Research Foundation Mentor Award that she received in 2002, the Distinguished Alumni Award from Rush University in 2003 and being Named one of 2004’s Fifty Great Leaders of Oregon by Business magazine amongst others
Dr. Potempa has dedicated much research towards health within physically impaired populations in conjunction with her community-based research to improve health behavior.
We continue to discuss the practice and its components by reflecting on our practice. We know that laughing is therapeutic and healing which means humor has an enormous place in the practice. We will review connection, love, happiness, and moving in EVERY way as well as adding humor and smiling to the practice of NOW.
