Special Moments is owned and operated by Denise Forbes-McCormick, a professionally trained event planner. After obtaining an undergraduate degree in Public Relations and Promotion, she has been exposed to many wonderful and gratifying opportunities. Denise hosted a radio talk show discovering new talent and continued airwave work with V-103, a local Baltimore station where she assisted with their annual "For Sister's Only" event. Denise has also lent her talents to an event company where she worked with the "Associated Black Charities" organization on their annual "NBA All Star Event" in Maryland. Denise's passion for charity work also led her to work with the Baltimore Ravens National Football Team to raise money for inner city youth.
Denise has received intensive training under her apprenticeship with Linnyette Richardson-Hall who is currently featured on the Style Network, "Whose Wedding IS It Anyway? " She is featured on some of her episodes as one of her valued assistants.
Under this apprenticeship, Ms. Richardson-Hall took her under her wing and has given Denise intense 'hands on training' in presenting fabulous events. The passion for orchestrating wedding affairs has led her to start her own company "Special Moments" in 2007.
Through her ardent studying for several years, she has learned the ins and outs of designing weddings from very small scale happenings to very large scale events, from one of the premiere consultants in the industry.
As a primary consultant and event designer, she will coordinate and supervise each event to make sure every detail is in place so that on your special day you can relax and have peace at mind within your Special Moment.
