Join us for an all new show as we ring 2013! Tonight we talk to Beth Chiarelli, wife of retired General Peter Chiarelli, former Vice Chief of Staff of the Army. She recently co-authored the book Now You Tell Me! 12 Army Wives Give the Best Advice They Never Got.
We also are talking about the PBS addictive period drama, Downton Abbey.
About Beth Chiarelli: The Army was Beth Chiarelli’s life for over forty years as her husband Peter progressed from second lieutenant to four-star general. Beth and Peter met in 1968 during their freshman year at Seattle University in Washington State. Beth was not from a military family and didn’t know Pete was in ROTC when they started dating. She majored in community services and went on to use those skills on behalf of the Army community as her husband held each level of command from platoon to corps. Peter recently retired, having concluded his career serving four years as the second highest-ranking general in the Army.

Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson, Founder and CEO of Miclknight. I am an Educator, Speaker, Author, Full-Circle Health Coach and passionate about healthy and balanced living.
Last week: Emotional Balance, today 2/4 Spiritual Balance; next week 2/11 Physical Balance; 2/18 Mental Balance.
My favorite word is: Moderation in what ever we do. What I mean with Spritual Balance is to have something to look up to, for example Nature, Sounds, Yoga, God, Buddah, something where you can pull strength from.
Why is this so important? As a baby we had our parent(s) nurture us. As children, we made friends and enjoyed spending time with them, sharing, playing. As teens it started getting a bit more competitive, and as adults, we get lost at times, because the support we had has shifted in us, as we want to be self-sufficient, knowing the answers, being respected,
That's why we need a supreme being or something that grounds us, so we are balanced. Remember the muscle testing we did last week? Use it!
From my experience, my spritual life means being, doing, giving the best I can each and every day and get the strength and wisdom from above to know what it is. Ask yourself, what is it for you? Do you get guidance from somewhere you feel you want to tune in, listen, then head the thought, feeling, guidance you get? Do you feel a shift in your body, your mind, your soul? That's what a Spiritual Balance is for me. Then I test it and when it's solid, I follow the action to that thought.
Money & Name Recognition, no matter how bad the name, Buys the Presidency Once again: are you going to stand for it or just sit down and let it happen. I always think of a better way to do things. It works, but i seldom to never get any takers. Is this because my ideas are bad, too hard, too honest? My ideas are real, cost efficient, honest as the mass of our Sun. The problem which i face is the problem of stucknes. Stuckness is a word meaning: 1.) 'we have been doing this for years' - WE HAVE 2 POLITICAL PARTIES WHICH GOVERNN OUR COUNTRY FOR BETTER OR WORSE; 2.) 'now is not the time for change, we are in the middle of something' - THE AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE ACT IS WORKING FOR 30,000 Americans - - not 100,000 or 400,000; 3,) 'we are doing good' - OUR UNENPLOYMENT IS DOWN TO 4.9% - -WE DON'T COUNT EVERYONE WHO IS UN-EMPLOYED, JUST THOSE Americans WHO STILL CAN FILE FOR UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE; 5.) 'what is your pro-fession, how much experience do you have, do you have a degree, where did you go to school, how long have you been working' - I AM UNEMPLOYED, I HAVE A BS & MBA WITH 30+ CREDITS IN ACCOUNTING with TAXATION, I GRAD-UATED FROM ST. FRANCIS COLLEGE - - not big enough for you, never heard of it, does it help that I was drafted during college and did my active duty doing college in less than 4 years.. My idea for a political free White House is exquisite and affordable. It reminds me of new nation finding its way. Can you find your way away from 2 Political Parties separating us from each other, setting up walls between us, tearing our nation apart. Are we Democrats over being Americans. Can Americans find true honest candidates resembling the people.
I believe that we need a person who represents most of us in every detail: height, weight, honesty, expectation and standing for the right thing…. bwell c2it

On this episode of NTR: Non-Tree Radio, host Courtney Lambert talks with featured guest Amy Perrin about making career MOVEs and their experiences in this area. Career moves are not easy. Some people stay at jobs they hate because they have financial responsibilities, some people stay because they are afraid of change, and others stay because they don't feel they are qualified to do what they truly want to do. Courtney and Amy talk with listeners about their decisions to make moves in their careers and how they executed their plans. Afterwards, Courtney and Michelle continue the conversation with key points and suggestions. If you are looking for that extra push of encouragement to go after your dreams, don't miss this show!
Many of us have taken personality tests that tell us who we are? What do we do with those tests after we take them? Do you compare them to who you think you really are or to how you relate to others? You know who you are. Do you need those tests to tell you or do you use them as a guide?
Join us on Purpose Talk Radio on Friday, Feb. 5, noon PT/3 p.m. ET/8 p.m. UK, host Cindy Freeman as we discuss determining who you are and how that can relate to others.

Each time we air our goal is to promote interest in the creative arts community. The focus is to allow artists in the community get their recognition. We know that radio has been for years at the forefront of communication and no matter how technology will send us in different directions, radio is here to stay. Almost everyone has something to say and what better opportunity to say it then to bring it straight to radio and then to the world.
Aj-Poet a native of Westchester County in White Plains, NY to be exact is jumping in head first to share her family of performers, artist, writers with the community. She hoping not only to reach individuals in the surrounding area but to launch a movement to preserve the beauty of the arts. She especially want that person who we call the "closeted" artist to come out and shine. No longer will we sing only in our bathroom or paint behind closed doors. What is freeing with radio is that these talents can be communicated behind a microphone exposing many to what we are afraid to show. However once revealed a star is born.
Aj-Poet will be interviewing, playing music, sharing taped and live interviews. Discussing what folks are doing out there and also promoting their crafts. From authors who are reachable in our communities to dancers and musicians about to do a show. She will have entrepreneurs, supporters, activists, politicians, community leaders and active participants in our communities.
Benita & Terricinia will talk about wine, trips, and have a really fun time!
Get Your glass in hand, be ready for Something to Wine About. Tune in because you'll never what guests they will have lined up!
This week we will be Talking with Greg Lawrence of Markell-Bani Wines

Today we are going to be talking about what it means to pay now for a greater reward later. Some of us are so caught up on the here and now that we miss the prviliege of the journey and therefore we miss out on what life has to offer. Our culture and society has been conditioned to look for instant gratification and I will tell you that in most cases...that means stagnation. When we do not look to the future we can get caught not preparing for it and thus not having one. Yes, it is important to live for today...but what if tomorrow comes...are you ready!
How may times have we heard this phrase???? But do we really understand what it means? Do we comprehend what we are saying when we are saying these words! Living in the will of God is a wonderful thing when we know what God will truly is and being apart of a kingdom is a lot different than what we think of a "Kingdom!" Join Bishop Lawrence F. Wright as he dives into God's matchless word to get to the true meaning of "Living in the will of God" and ushering in God's Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven, On Greater is in YOU radio with Bishop Lawrence Wright. #GodStrong #bgbg2 #iSpeakTruth
