I will also provide news and notes from the world of football.
As always we will be taking calls from YOU, the fans! Show time this week is on Thursday, August 7th at 7pm EST and the call in number is (323)657-1489
It is almost time for college football. We are less than 12 weeks away from the start of the season on Thursday, August 28, 2014 in Columbia, South Carolina. This will be a game between Texas A&M vs. The South Carolina Gamecocks. In the mean time we will profile schools that are listed in the pre-season top 25 and we will also spotlight teams that are dominating the current recruiting trail for 2015.
We take our final look at the Pre-Season Top 25, and we also get into the new wrinkle of College Football this year and it involves the College Football Playoff. Out of 128 Teams 4 will be chosen based upon what they do on the football during the season to compete for the Championship. This new era is totally new territory for the sport and it is our duty to prepare you for this new bold frontier.
The nine-year wait is over, and on this week's Cinema Royale we will return to the sleazy streets of Basin City for Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For! Was the wait worth it? And how does the sequel to 2005's groundbreaking film fit into the current comic book movie landscape?
Plus, Cinema Royale will be joined by Life of Crime director Dan Schechter to talk about his adaptation of the Elmore Leonard novel (and Jackie Brown prequel) starring Jennifer Aniston, John Hawkes, Mos Def, Tim Robbins, and Isla Fisher!
Christopher Bumbray of Joblo.com joins me for another great show!
Has the Non Aggression Principle failed? The filmed execution of journalist James Foley and the apparent destruction of minority groups in Iraq at the hands of the savage ISIS fundamentalists has even steadfast Libertarians questioning their view on foreign policy. Are the interventionists now vindicated? Is it time to just admit that Lindsey Graham loves us and wants us to be safe ? Should we drool and shit our pants in fear ? Isn't it just time to get on the freedom train, eat our freedom fries , suckle the chaffed nipples of the nanny state , pull the warm blanket of homeland security over our eyes and be grateful that the sages of the U.S. govt. are hard at work protecting us all ?
Check us out on line!

Red Elk is an Inter-Tribal Medicine Man. He is a self-described half-breed Native American / white, of both the Blackfeet and Shoshone Nations, as well as part Irish and French.
He is a member of the Heyoka (hey – OH – kah) Society, a Contrarian group of Native Americans who do not follow the normal path of mankind. Red Elk is one of twelve Inner Heyoka members. He is one of the nine members of the Red Web Society who are working to bring understanding of many hidden sacred teachings to the people of Earth. He is also an honorary member of the Cherokee Nations Twisted Hair Society.
In 1973 Red Elk went on a 69 day fast, taking water, juices, and vitamins. On or about the 49th day Red Elk began to experience a vision about the future. For a little more than an hour each day for 3 days Red Elk saw and experienced a future that he didn’t want to see. The East and West coasts of America subside, a huge meteor strikes the Atlantic, unimaginably great earthquakes rip apart the earth as massive volcanic eruptions darken the skies and blacken the land. But these tribulations pale in comparison to what soon follows as the earth’s axis flips and ensuing floods and 300 mile per hour winds savagely destroy buildings, people, ecosystems and entire nations.
Red Elk believes that there is Hope and that we have time to change and prepare… But the first thing we must change is ourselves.
