What started out as a crazy idea borne of necessity and then had a couple of false starts is now perhaps the finest episode of Norse Code ever created.
Kevin "QuantCoach" Braig joins us for 87 minutes of deep football strategy wherein Arif and Kevin go back and forth about the predictive power of coaching statistics and the difference between planning and execution. We bring it all back to the future of the Vikings as Braig shares his thoughts on Mike Zimmer and Norv Turner. Tune in today for the first ever live-to-tape episode of Norse Code!

We all know about the exoteric or the so-called 'mythology'. What about the esoteric? Commentary on the Irminsul & Norse Spirituality / Asatru / Odinism / Wotanism. The Neo-Odinist / Neo-Wotanist & Neo-Asatru movements lack an understanding of the esoteric.
No phone call-ins.
Extracted from another show that was multi-topical plus some addititonal commentary.

Arif and Dusty set an unofficial record for least teeth in a two-man sports podcast. Herschel Walker says he could still play, Roger Goodell thinks the same draft could be longer, and Wildly Irresponsible Prognostications return. Plus, of course, the mailbag.

On the clipboard this week: AP's groin surgery, more draft rumors, and some fun thought experiements surrounding whether or not draftees should be paid and what one should pay them, as well as what constitutes a "character problem" so serious that a draftee might not be worth drafting?

Beltane is a major Sabbat, cross quarter on the Wheel of the year. It is at 15 degrees of Taurus, or May 1st. In Wiccan mythology it is the sexual union and/or marriage of the Goddess and God
Beltane is the last of the three spring fertility festivals - the others being Imbolc and Ostara. Beltane is the second Celtic festival (the other being Samhain). Celebrated approximately halfway between Vernal (spring) equinox and the midsummer (Summer Solstice) that makes it a cross quarter holiday
Beltane, and its counterpart Samhain, divide the year into its two primary seasons, winter (Dark Part) and summer (Light Part). At Samhain we honor Death. At Beltane, its counterpart, we honor life. It is the time when the sun is fully released from his bondage of winter and able to rule over summer and life once again.

Scott Stearns started on the Pagan path when he was in the US Navy in 1996. He started working for the Department of Veterans Affairs in 2002 and in 2006 noticed that the VA did not recognize the Pentacle as an emblem of belief. There were several requests to have the Pentacle as an emblem of belief. So, he started a letter writing campaign. He was not alone in this venture and in 2007 their request was granted.
Tune in as I interview Scott Stearns, Elder of Covenant of the Blue Moon Church, and learn about his journey of religious freedom in life and death.
