John Crow was born in Detroit Mi. he is a blend of Native American and Kentucky Hillbilly. He has been involved with performance poetry for the past 15 years. As the founding Slam-master of Killeen Poetry Slam, he has also coached, performed and organized teams that have been in the top two rankings at The National Poetry Slam. “ Just because I’m the slam master of Killeen TX doesn’t mean I’m the best poet, it just means I’m the best poet with a plan.” Killeen as a unique one liner style of poetry that they do for fun. Crow is the Arch Bishop of One line poetry. It's kinda like Haiku but there just isn't the 17 syllable restriction. " I have been writing Haiku for awhile, I am always in awe of the poets who can inspire feeling in as few words as possible" Crow is a sound engineer and recognized as one of the top media relations professionals in the Army. "I have used my talents to help as many people as I can, I still enjoy mastering projects but I rarely have time for it." At 48 John Crow retired from being Slam-master of Killeen. " It's about time, poetry is changing plus I want to start touring."
I'm breaking down the first games of the NCAA tourney and offering my pick to win it all. I'll give you a hint: it's not Kentucky. The Bears remain fairly quiet on the free agency market, but have their eye on a certain running back in the draft. The Bulls got a much needed win over the Indiana Pacers last night, as rookie Nikola Mirotic continues to shine. Meanwhile, Tom Thibodeau vocalizes his grievances regarding Joakim Noah's minutes restriction. The Blackhawks got big wins over two New York teams on back to back nights, and Corey Crawford is playing like a man possessed. All this and your phone calls @ (347) 327-9183. Anti-Aging confirmed above and beyond calorie restriction. What if you could enhance the effects...of course you can!
Plus what does ol' Mr Rosner think about aging and is it consistent with a genius way of thinkin'?
MH.319.001 "Those who understand the laws of health and who are governed by principle, will shun the extremes, both of indulgence and of restriction. Their diet is chosen, not for the mere gratification of appetite, but for the upbuilding of the body. They seek to preserve every power in the best condition for highest service to God and man. The appetite is under the control of reason and conscience, and they are rewarded with health of body and mind. While they do not urge their views offensively upon others, their example is a testimony in favor of right principles. These persons have a wide influence for good."
“It has been clearly presented to me that God’s people are to take a firm stand against meat eating. Would God give His people the message that if they desire to have pure blood and clear minds, they must give up the use of flesh meat, if He did not want them to heed this message?
Very early in social evolution, the mores tended to crystallize in restriction of sex relations among near relatives; outbreeding greatly increased the selective opportunity for evolutionary variation and advancement. Many tribes eventually forbade marriages within the clan, but outmarriage finally dominated because it was a peace promoter and a nation builder.

Humility of the Brain by Nigerian-born author Prince Ezem Ihenacho
Drawing on his personal and professional experiences, from growing up in his native Nigeria to working within the mental health sector, Ihenacho offers a fresh perceptive and a wildly imaginative interpretation of humankind. Humility of the Brain introduces his ‘five fingers theory’ in which he asserts that man’s fingers ’need to be strong and healthy in their individual capacity but must work in a complimentary fashion… for the hand to function at its best.’
Also, a message close to Ihenacho’s heart is that the restriction on education for women is the greatest crime against humanity - highlighting that the only way to reach a peaceful and open-minded future is by investing in universal and comprehensive education.
Ultimately, Ihenacho intends to reinforce his belief that the differences found across the world provide a richness and intelligence that otherwise would be missing from our lives and - reflecting Aristotle’s belief that, ‘The Whole is Greater than the Sum of its Parts,’ - that by harnessing our individual gifts we can work together towards a modern day utopia.

Our culture today has become obsessed with diets. Instead of that word simply meaning, "that which you eat", it has become a word that implies deprivation, starving, restriction, and sacrifice. There are so many fads and theories about how to achieve that perfect body, (whether realistic or not), and yet more and more people are suffering with allergies, digestive disturbance, and more serious conditions like cancer, celiac, and Crohn's Disease, as well as eating disorders such as anorexia, bulemia, pica, and Pradar Willi Syndrome. Despite the media and the quest for the perfect figure, the obesity epidemic continues and we know all too well (hopefully) how this condition can contribute to heart disease, diabetes, and cancer, not to mention other conditions like arthritis that are complicated by increasing weight.
Last time, we discussed how Ayurveda views food as medicine and how to incorporate Ayurvedic principles to achieve perfect weight and balance. Today Nick and Joanna will be discussing how hypnosis can help manage and heal the myriad of eating disorders that seem to affect us today.
Is it a matter of willpower, or are we powerless to make the changes we need to make to live a happier, healthier life where we can live longer and prevent disease before it starts?
Whether it's a matter of a few pounds you would like to lose, or a more serious problem of obesity and/or a related illness, hypnosis can help, along with a sensible diet and lifestyle that decreases stress, and brings some ease and sanity to this epidemic problem.
