Welcome to The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab, the 2015 Online Media Award Winning Podcast by What A Fan, hosted by "The Mad Scientist of Sports" Nick Ficorelli and "The Nutty Professor" Andrew Gluchov. This is not the average everyday sports show they are bringing to the air waves. "The Mad Scientist" has created his own personal sports lab, and you, the audience, as well as many of his special guests, will be his test subjects. He will throw theories out, and you never know where they will be coming from. He will keep everyone guessing, and he will open his lab to any and all comers. Be prepared for "mad science" sports talk at its best.
This week, "The Mad Scientist" will be going solo, as "The Nutty Professor" is taking a one-week sabbatical to concoct some of his own experiments, but fear not, the lab's test subjects will be ready!! At 10pm, once again, we have Allie's Fantasy Alley at10pm with Allie Fonatan to talk Week 11. At 1030pm we will have Tony Cincotta of RotoExperts and Walton Spurlin ofFantasy Sharks, and at 11pm, we have Marcus Katkin of Blindside Football, to continue the ongoing debate regarding Daily Fantasy Sports (especially in light of the NY rulings against DraftKings and FanDuel this week), and lastly, we welcome Mike Kamp of RPM Services LLC and Pixographs, and Robyn Vandenburg of Bump N Run, to talk about what Pixographs is about, and sprinkle in a little NASCAR as we enter the final race at Homestead in Miami to determine the 2015 Sprint Cup Champion.
The beacons are lit, the experiments are on the board, and the test subjects are at the ready. The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab is officially open for business.

This month of November 2015, Nick & Joanna will be talking about Anger; first discussing the perspecive of Ayurveda on this intense and sometimes mysterious and dangerous emotion, and then on the 25th, as it relates to Domestic Violence and how hypnosis can be a helpful tool for addressing and manging it.
As with all things in Ayurveda, we go back to the doshas. Anger is primarily a Pitta emotion (Fire). The fire of Pitta, when out of balance can rage out of control and create havoc emotionally. And as Ayurveda views all symptoms, we ask the question, what is it telling us; about our physical, mental, emotional and even spiritual well-being?
Are there some people who are just prone to an anger response when under stress? Should anger always be judged as a bad thing? Is it ever justified? What can be done to manage anger from a Vedic perspective?
We will be talking about these things and more as well as providing some suggestions for keeping that internal fire burning brightly, but not out of control.
On the 25th, the focus will be on hypnotherapy as a tool to deal with anger as well as answer all of the questions above, from the perspecive of the hypnotherapist. We will also be focusing on domestic violence as a serious problem in our culture that must be addressed, and what we can do individually and collectively to be a part of the solution. It's more than just raising awareness.

There was a time before television that childhood was a period of innocence. All that is gone now. With the Internet sending graphic sexual images to every device at our fingertips, childhood innocence is gone. What effect is this having on our children. In the controversial, film Chiraq about Chicago's gang violence, there is a graphic flashback scene in which the lead character, played by Nick Cannon, walks in on his mother having sex. This gives insight as to perhaps what happened that destroyed his respect for women. Today, our youth are raised in a culture with no consciousness of morals or family values. As a result children are conceived often without love or intention. Are we introducing too much sexuality to our children too soon and in a negative way that emotionally traumatized them? How do we take back control of the minds of our children and introduce spirituality to sexuality in a way that is wholesome and age appropriate
There was a time when childhood was a period of innocence. Today, with the Internet sending graphic sexual images to every device at our fingertips, that childhood innocence is gone. Are we introducing too much sex too soon to our children? How is it affecting them? There is a scene inSpike Lee's controversial, new film Chiraq in which the lead Character, played by Nick,Cannon has a flashback to a childhood memory in which he walks in on his mother having sex. It gives some insight as to why he later has such disrespect for women. There is a reason why so many children are conceived without love or intention by parents. How do we reclaim innocence for our children and introduce sexuality to them with the wholesome spiritual understanding in a manner that is age appropriate? How dowe protect them from the emotional trauma of public images of too much sex too soon?

Matt (CYHusker) stops by to discuss the running list of candidates he's tracking on WRNL to replace Paul Rhoads as the next head football coach at Iowa State. Some members of the WRNL crew call in to give there takes and we also take some fan phone calls to get some fan perspective from members of Cyclone Nation.
Al continues to rip on western Iowa, Sean lobbies for the quadruple option, Dan has some scalding hot takes on the Brady Hoke rumors, Matt comes up with a real trophy for the "Heroes Game", and the crew offers an explanation as to why Nick Saban is a better fit at Iowa State than Texas. As I'm sure you could predict, this whole conversation devolves into a fast food discussion by the end of it.
