The magical story of no interceptions is over and now the media can focus on the Green Bay Packers defense. Although St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley rushed for 159 yards, Nick Foles threw four interceptions and the Packers won 24-10. The Packers defense now ranks third in points allowed per game, only allowing 16.2. Foles was sacked three times, but was under constant pressure and ended the day 11 of 30 for 141 yards. By winning the line early, the Rams fed the ball to Gurley to slow down the pass rush. Subtract the 55 yard galevant, the Packers held Gurley to 3.6 yards per carry. Rookie Quinten Rollins intercepted Foles, in the first quarter, and returned it 45 yards to give the Packers a 14-0 lead. Two interceptions inside the red zone helped secure the victory.
Aaron Rodgers had a ball tipped and intercpeted by James Lauranitis to end his streak at 587 passes without an interception at home. Rodgers ended the day with modest numbers 19 of 30 for 241 yards. The big play was a 65 yard touchdown pass to James Jones. Initially Jones was ruled down at the one yard line but Mike McCarthy challenged the pay. The ruling on the field was overturned and Jones was credited with his fifth touchdown of the year. Eddie Lacey found little running room against the Rams. His long run of the day was eight yards, and he finished with 27 rushing yards. Rodgers led the team in rushing with 39 yards.
The Rams fall to 2-3 and will enjoy a bye week before hosting the Cleveland Browns. Green Bay improved to 5-0 and will host the San Diego Chargers next week.
Sports Talk breaks down NFL Week 4, and previews the big NFC East battle between the Eagles and Redskins, plus the Giants and Bills square off in a battle for NY (kind of), and all the other big matchups!
Mike and Stephan tied last week, so a new rule is being implicated: From now on, if you go 2 weeks in a row with a tie, the champ will be stripped and it will be vacant. Stephan is no longer the Sports Talk champion because this will now be his 2nd week of not beating Mike, so the title is vacant. Who will be the champion next week? What teams will they pick to win?
All the news, injury reports, and fantasy you will need for week 4.

For the second week in a row, the Arizona Cardinals will play at home against an NFC West foe. After dismantling the San Francisco 49ers 47-7. they now take on the St. Louis Rams, who perhaps should be known as the St. Louis QB assassins. In two outings last season, Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton both had their seasons ended. Just last week, they took down Ben Roethlisberger.
Host Jess Root talks to 3K from Turf Show Times and discusses the physicality of the Rams defense, among other things. As Tyrann Mathieu wondered the other day, why isn't this team a Super Bowl team? They talk about the Jeff Fisher era and the seeming ability of the team to underachieve and overachieve all in a single season, always seeming to end up with 7 or 8 wins.
Nick Foles, Aaron Donald, Todd Gurley and more are discussed.
Enjoy the show and head on over to Revenge of the Birds for all the best Arizona Cardinals content
