    Hornets, Nature's Injury Bugs

    in Basketball

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was lost for most of the season (here's hoping for a late return) before the Hornets played a regular season game. Al Jefferson has sustained two injuries. The last, a meniscus tear, has him out until at least mid-February. And Nic Batum is healing from a toe injury that has limited his abilities on the court and kept him off of it for the last two contests. Had Jeremy Lamb stayed out of the game against the Golden State Warriors after a wrist injury in the first half, the Hornets may have qualified for a state of emergency declaration.

    Today is Thursday November 12th

    in Sports

Welcome to the Thursday edition of Sports Time Radio hosted by The Big Jack and Dan the Man (possible). Thursday Night Football features an AFC East battle as the Buffalo Bills take on the New York Jets. Rex Ryan is coaching against his former team and I was surprised that there weren't more quotes from him. Maybe the fact that it's a Thursday game threw him off. Let's cover the NBA and the NHL scedule for tonight and will see if Dan the Man can pick a game right; he hasn't yet this season. Baseball's General Managers are meeting, but nothing nic has happened yet; maybe todayis the day,
