In this segment of the Vince Anello Show, Niagara Falls Police Superintendent Bryan DalPorto discusses a number of issues. Chief DalPorto brought the listeners up to date on the recent community concern regarding the physical and verbal abuse of the special needs adult that is often seen walking the commercial districts of Niagara Falls. Greater transparency of city government and Operations. The issue of the poor working relationship of the Niagara Falls Water Board and city government will also be a reoccurring theme of future programs.
In this segment of the Vince Anello Show, Niagara Falls city Council Chair Andy Touma discusses issues and challenges facing the city. He stated that the issue of the frozen water lines in various parts of the city especially on 72nd St. will be addressed before the end of construction season.
In his remarks he pointed to the issue of the city's finances and that something needs to be done to address the high rate of increase of the cost of city operations.
I stated that there should be a public forum of the public officials who have the authority to appoint members of the Niagara Falls water board which include the governor, our senator, our assemblyman, mayor of the city Niagara Falls and the Council chair of the city Niagara Falls. Also, at the forum, the five members of the Niagara Falls water board should be present. Chairman Touma stated that he liked the idea and that he would try to move forward.
In this segment of the Vince Anello show, Jim Szwedo, candidate for mayor of the city of Niagara Falls New York discusses his candidacy. As a Republican he is in a three way race in the Sept., 10th Primary.
Mr. Szwedo discusses the frozen water lines issue plaguing the City of Niagara Falls, 72nd street neighborhood, as well as other areas of the city.

The current mayor, Paul Dyster a Democrat, also has a primary and the challenger is incumbent Councilman Glenn Choolokian who decided not to be on The Vince Anello Show.

Judge Violante, who is running for reelection and will be on the ballot this primary day Thursday, September 10, 2015. Two seats are open and he is one of three candidates. In today's show the judge discusses a number of programs initiated during his tenure in the Niagara Falls city court to help those who run afoul of the law. The goal is to return these individuals with the basic tools to become productive members of their community. Drug Court was discussed extensively and there was some discussion regarding the Housing Court.

The homes in this program are selected from the city of Niagara Falls In Rem list. These are the properties that the city of Niagara Falls plans to auction off due to nonpayment of taxes.
Mr. Piccirillo also discusses with callers the Isaiah 61 worker training initiative. This is a community effort to train unemployed and disadvantage individuals to learn a trade related to the residential remodeling industry.

Wednesday August 12, 2015 at 6:30pm EST two dismembered are bodies found in Niagara Falls. Is this the work of a SERIAL KILLER? Loretta Jo Gates and Terry Lynn Bills were both cut up and found in various places in Niagara Falls.
Loretta Jo Gates went missing August 25, 2012. her body was found floating in the Niagara River by a passenger on the Maid of the Mist boat ride. The rest of her body parts were found in Hyde Park on Duck Island in September 2012.
Terry Lynn Bills torso was found in an abandoned house at 1129 Willow St., Niagara Falls, NY June 16, 2015.
Both bodies discarded like trash. Both bodies decapitated in a similar manner. Both related. Both blonde. Both had drug and prostitution backgrounds. Both mothers. Both women were trying to clean up their act at the time they were murdered. Did they both know the killer?
