Third & Short: Wanda's Fantasy Football Week 17

    in Sports

Host Wanda Wiedman gives you the final Week 17 Fantasy Football starts and sits for the 2015 season.

Start QB Ben Roethlisberger versus Cleveland Browns. Steelers need to win in order to stay in the post-season. Sit Phillip Rivers against the Denver Broncos. Broncos defense is just brutal and will limit any Charger player from scoring. As your sleeper start Brandon Weeden against the Jags, depending on Hoyer's condition.

Start RB Todd Gurley against the 49ers. Gurley put up some great numbers against the Seahawks and wil do the same against the 49ers as they have surrendered the 2nd most fantasy points to running backs. Sit Darren McFadden versus the Redskins. McFadden has been a pretty good #2 flex but the Redskins have been able to limit rushing yards to opposing teams. For your sleeper pick start Frank Gore against the Titans.

At wide receiver, start Calvin Johnson against the Bears. Johnson hasn't been the greatest in fantasy points this season but against the Bears, he always seems to find a way. Sit Mike Evans versus the Panthers. Panthers defense will not let Evans make a dent in the end zone. As your sleeper, DeVante Adams versus the Vikings. If he can hold on to the ball and make those catches, he can redeem himself in Rodgers eyes.

Start TE Zach Miller against the Lions. He has been pretty solid for Cutler and will be get the majority of the hits with Alshon Jeffery out. Sit Austin Sefarian-Jenkins against the Panthers. Panthers have surrendered only 7 fantasy points to opposing tight ends. For your sleeper you can start Ben Watson against the Falcons. The chemistry between Watson and Brees has been tight and will continue this weekend.

Start the Broncos defense against the Chargers and sit the Ravens against the Bengals.

Start Graham Gano versus the Bucs and sit Justin Tucker versus the Bengals.

Third & Short: Roxaan Herrera - Philadelphia Eagles

    in Sports

Host Wanda Wiedman discusses the Philadelphia Eagles win over the New York Jets with NFLFemale Official Fan Reporter Roxaan Herrera.

Eagles are 10-0 when playing against the New York Jets. They started off slow in the season but played a more balanced offense against a tough Jets defense.

Roxaan emphasized the need of the run game and the importance of playing Darren Sproles and Ryan Matthews over Demarco Murray. Quarterback Sam Bradford is still not believed to be the leader of the offense but he did a little better when passes are shorter and the run game is on point.

The defense stepped up with the forced fumble and a miracle backward throw on behalf of Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall into the hands of an Eagle defender.

Third & Short: Fantasy Football Week 5 - Wanda Wiedman

    in Sports

Host Wanda Wiedman shares Fantasy Football Week 5 starts and sits on behalf of NFLFemale Fantasy reporter Noopur Bakshi.

Start with quarterback Aaron Rodgers of the Packers and sit Colin Kaepernick of the 49ers. Sleeper pick is non-other than Michael Vick of the Pittsburgh Steelers who may have another second half clutch game.

On wide receiver start the ever elusive Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons who is determined to hit the 2,000 receiving yard mark by the end of the season. Sit Devante Parker of the Miami Dolphins and pick Willie Snead of the New Orleans Saints as your sleeper. Snead has the favored target of QB Drew Brees .

Depending on the return of running back Tevin Coleman it will be interesting to see who head coach Dan Quinn plans on starting. Noopur thinks you should start Devonta Freeman and sit Carlos Hyde of the 49ers.Noopur also suggests starting Duke Johnson as your sleeper pick of the Cleveland Browns.

On tight-ends start Gary Barnidge of the Cleveland Browns and sit Tyler Eifert of the Cincinnati Bengals. Green Bay Packers Richard Rodgers is your best best for your sleeper pick.

Defense is a go for the Green Bay Packers and a sit for the St. Louis Rams. And that;s it for Fantasy Football!

Third & Short: Wanda's Fantasy Football Week 16

    in Sports

Host Wanda Wiedman takes you through Week 16 Fantasy Football Starts and Sits.

Beginning with quarterback Kirk Cousins of the Washington Redskins versus the Philadelphia Eagles.Scored high fantasy points in the last three games and against the Eagles defense he will continue that trend. Sit Matt Ryan of the Falcons against the Carolina Panthers, not much to say here. As your sleeper take Jamies Winston of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Chicago Bears. It is uncertain which Bears defense will show up.

Start running back Charcandrick West of the Chiefs versus the Chargers. Chargers have allowed the most points to running backs. Sit Eddie Lacy of the Packers against the Cardinals. For your sleeper, RB Karlos Williams of the Bills against the Cowboys.

On WR start Martavius Bryant against the Ravens. Defense will try to double team Antonio Browns so Bryant will come in handy. Sit out Larry Fitzgerald of the Cardinals against Packers. Fitzerald has seen more blocking than receptions as of late. Sleeper WR will be Kamar Aiken of the Vikings against the Steelers.

On tight end start Jordan Reed of the Redskins against the Eagles. Reed has been sensational for Cousins and the Redskins. Sit Jason Witten of the Cowboys versus the Bills and for your sleeper Benjamin Watson of the Saints against the Jaguars. Brees has been really relying alot on Watson in place of Graham.

On defense start Texans against Titans and sit out Rams against Seahawks.

Last but not least start Blair Walsh of the Vikings against the Giants and sit Dan Bailey of the Cowboys against the Bills.
