LESSON # 1 The Books Of The New Testament: Presented By: Bishop Dr. Lawrence Mwamba Professor Of Systematic Theology At Word Of Life Bible College Dallas Campus. This is an introductory study in the New Testament Survey Series. This will be an overview of the New Testament Studies at Bible College Level. However the studies will not be as intense as a classroom setting. These studies will equip all those who are looking at being effective workers for
Faith: Hebrews 11:1-3 KJV Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Grace: We are saved by the Grace of God, not by works, so that NO MAN CAN BOAST.
Salvation: This is our ticket to Heaven. We are saved through the sacrivice of Jesus Christ. Anyone who confesses with their mouth and believes in their heart that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh to die for our sins, and accepts his sacrifice for their sins, and confesses and repents for their sins, has a ticket to Heaven, complements of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Works: Faith without works is dead. James 2:26 KJV For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also
The Old Testament: This book teaches salvation through works, and that God is a single Diety.
The New Testament: This book teaches salvation through Grace and Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and to most Christians it implies that God is a Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Unitarian believers find the trinity concept disturbing, and they believe that God is a single Diety, and cannot be split up into three, as in the Trinity. These two doctrines are called "Trinitarian" and "Unitarian" doctrines.

Welcome to New Life School of Pneumatology Lesson 8: defining 'spirit' in the New Testament. The term for 'soul' was not totally understood in the Old Testament, and neither was the word for 'spirit'. In the New Testament this term becomes clearer because the New Creation in Christ is revealed.
